In the link is a video of a "new" technology I had heard about YEARS ago called Claytronics or "Programmable Matter." Does anyone have any idea as to what happened to this? It could drastically have changed many things in our day to day life yet the project disappeared.

So ummm.. wtf

That's because it would be too dangerous in the hands of regular everyday people.

Tesla considered this the most amazing achievement of mankind. That when we are able to control matter and mold it into any shape we want, then we would truly become gods....
