The Prayer Request Thread - Everyone is Welcome - We Will Pray For You!

I'd like to ask that somebody would pray to give me strength to over come daily temptations. I have no one in all my close family/friend circle these days that is a Christian, so I'm alone in this. It makes it difficult to constantly resist sin left and right. The Bible says in 1st Corinthians, "Evil company corrupts good habits." That is certainly true.

Although, I've been doing much better lately, but the challenge is still there. I almost never ask anyone to pray for me, because I like to boast in my mind thinking I can do it alone, but the enemy's darts are impossible to overcome without prayer. I ask to pray for me. Thank you.

Please pray for my dear friend who relapsed and is in detox that he will make the choice to enter long term rehab. When he is sober, he is a fabulous man. Please pray that he speaks to his better angels and has the strength to go the distance after a 15 year struggle.

I would like to ask for prayer in finding a wife.

Lord, if it is your will, please provide a suitable mate for this person. Let your will be done Father.

Father in heaven, we ask for help with this person's sister. You know her troubles physically, emotionally and spiritually. I ask that you send a ministering angel to her to lift up her spirit and help restore her joy, peace and hope.

Wow, if you didn't realize that praying for others is part of the Christian faith, then I would encourage you to open your bible and start reading. Praying for others is one of the most important things we can do as believers. Below are just a few verses that reference it, there are so many that I'm not going to include them all, I don't have the time.

"Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him" (James 5:14-15).

"Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed"

"Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him" (Acts 12:5).

"Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints" (Ephesians 6:18).

"For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers" (Romans 1:9).

"We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you" (Colossians 1:3).

"Brethren, pray for us" (2 Thessalonians 5:25).

"Now I beseech you, brethren, for the Lord Jesus Christ's sake, and for the love of the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in your prayers to God for me" (Romans 15:30).

"Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God" (Colossians 4:12).

"Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer...." (1 Corinthians 7:5a).

Heavenly Father, we ask for your help with this family. Please help grandmother to find peace, happiness and meaning in her life. Please turn stepfather to you so that he can be free and delivered from the spirit of addiction, anger and money. Also, the poster so that he/she can learn to focus on you and look to you for all guidance and wisdom and grow into the person that you want her/him to be.

Father in Heaven, we ask for a divine healing for this person's teeth. Dental care is so expensive, and many of us can't afford this treatment. Please restore this person's teeth.

Lord, we ask for help for Fidokrab and his walk with You. Please Lord, help him to draw even closer to you. Strengthen his faith and his resolve so that he can resist the devil and flee from temptation and sin. Through You all things are possible. Please send your Holy Spirit to comfort and minister to him and help Him feel your presence. We ask that you would send him a good strong believer to be a friend that he can also lean on, but of course leaning on you first. Thank you Father for all of your blessings.

Father in Heaven, we ask for a deliverance for this man who is suffering from addiction. We ask that the demon be cast out in Jesus Name. Please fill this person with the strength that he needs to resist satan and turn his heart twords you so that he can live a happy life in serving you.

if you pray for one another....then you are going to have to give your requests....or people won't know what to pray for:

Yes, Jesus said, "When you pray say this: Our Father..."

"OUR" that is a community.

It cost us nothing to pray for you. Jesus already payed the price. you have to ask Jesus. for yourself also because he gives you free will, to fill you with the Holy Spirit. pray for your family,and for generational curses, to be removed. study spirtual warfare verses. let people love you with prayer. God loves you. read the word.

maybe ask for bible believing friends. or maybe start or go to a local bible study, big box churches have them,alot. ask some one for coffee to go over the new ideas,that way you will have a better chance of finding a new common interest friend.

I feel quite alone at the moment. I am moving to a new state to take a new job far away from friends and family. Unfortunately that is the easy part. I have encountered a bit of legal difficulty that has potential to create serious problems in my life and threaten my earning potential. This at a point where I felt I would be able to get myself closer to my Lord and begin earnest tithing that I have been lax with in the past. I have been slowly but surely evolving into someone who wants to truly understand the Word of God and I am afraid I could lose my will. Without going into detail I did not harm anyone, either directly or indirectly, I just made a stupid mistake. I fear that I will lose my opportunity to do something with my life that has the potential to have real meaning for me and to God. I hope somebody will pray for a resolution that will enable me to continue on a path that I hope will bring me closer to God and to understanding his purpose for me. Dear LORD,

Please help this person with the temptations that they face daily. Help them be strong in their weaknesses and find a way of escape. I also ask that you would bring some fellow believers into their life so they don't have to face their Christian walk alone.

Please help Drew at his point of need. Give him the wisdom and direction he needs right now as well as resolution to continue on the narrow path that leads to YOU. Let him receive the wisdom, revelation and knowledge of our LORD JESUS CHRIST. Draw him closer and closer to YOU in complete submission and obedience.

This is a wonderful thread.

I do have a couple of requests.
That my mother will be delivered from
bladder problems and arthritis.

I ask for healing for my uncle who has cancer.
And, that my sister in law will come through
open heart surgery with no complications.

I also ask for prayers that my husband will
be delivered from anger issues and from
alcohol addiction.
And, finally for myself that I will make
the right decisions that will be best
for me and my situation.

Thank you so much for your prayers. 30 mins after I posted this my Husband contacted me and said he loved me and asked me if he could come home! It's is amazing because he has been gone for 4 days. He wouldn't answer his phone at all. God does answer prayers!!!
