Please pray for my friend Audrey. Audrey passed away last night. I can't stop crying...

Heavenly Father, we pray for Carol, we ask Lord that you help her move past her grief and replace it with peace and joy. We look forward to the day when You will wipe every tear from our eyes and death and pain will be no more and none us will have to suffer the loss of a friend and loved one. Let your kingdom come on earth as it is in Heaven.

losing a friend can be one of the saddest things of all, my tears go out for you. ask God for help. read the love letters of Solomon comfort you. when my best friend died i was delivering a baby. the nurses told me to watch the movie beaches and cry it all out. lol it is a necessary part of morning but God will hold you. and when he lifts the sorrow "in the morning" it is our job to focus on his promise to have lifted it , and we have been give life still to go on with,and not feel guilt,because Jesus teaches us even through diversity to find Joy. my heart goes out to you. i still miss my friend and catch my self wanting to write things down to tell her when i see her in heaven. are minds are funny creatures. luv s.

Please say a prayer for Audrey...that her passing is freedom from the body that needed so badly to rest. That she doesn't hurt anymore. That she will see her beloved cats that have gone before her.

Dear LORD,

I pray for Carol in her time of grieving and for Audrey's family as well. Bring them YOUR grace, comfort and compassion as they go through this difficult time. Also touch them with YOUR peace that passes understanding as well.

Texas has gone through a lot in the last year.....maybe it has sparked a revival!!!

I was talking about this a couple of times in my Texas Drought thread. Some people thought they were being punished. However, it is also possible they are being purified for the battle ahead. Texas has always been somewhat independent. We may need that leadership in the difficult days ahead.

Heavenly Father, we ask for help on behalf of Katie. You know her struggles with her husband. She is going to try and talk with him about it tomorrow and she is worried. We ask for several guardian angels to be surrounding them and their family tomorrow Lord, we ask for peace and joy to be restored to this family. We ask for Katie's husband to turn from his drinking and start to put You first in his life. We ask that his heart will be changed so he can be the loving husband that you want him to be and that Katie needs him to be. We ask for a deliverance from the spirit of drinking. Protect Katie and her entire family Lord and lift them up with your Holy Spirit.

I ask the Holy Spirit to guide my thoughts as I type them.
Jesus, in the model prayer You gave us, it says "forgive us our trespasses", and that is what I pray today--forgive me my trespasses.

Father, some days I feel that all I am doing is existing. I desire for Your return, I wish it was now.

But I am ashamed to admit that part of that desire might be because I am looking for an easy way out of all this mess the world is in.

I am tired of it all and I feel that sometimes my witness for You is affected by this weariness.

Help me to appreciate the abundance You give each day. Help me to appreciate and see the good in all of Your creation.

Lift up my spirit to heights that will have me soaring above all my problems and the problems in this world so that when I look down I will see, that compared to You, these problems are tiny.

Forgive me when I get wrapped in the thoughts of this world and allow them to bring me down, because then what does that say about Your promises to me?

I GOT A JOB! Woohooo! I'm 19 years old and I've been fortunate enough to have had three different jobs. I thank God for that! So after praying for help to Jesus and asking for a prayer request in this thread I got a job within a couple of days. I don't have a monthly salary though, I work on provision and I can work whenever I want, how often I want, all from home! It's great! This could be the best job and the most suitable job for me ever :D
But I'm going to have to work hard if I want to earn money. I call different stores/companies if they are interested in have an advertisement for their store placed on the website I represent for a fee of $300 - $1500. I will try and earn as much as possible before I'm off to college in six months so I can afford an apartment and maybe even a car without having to take student loans. I will be debt free, yay :D

And I will keep this job when I start studying but I won't work as a sailsman instead they will offer me a job where I will visit super markets and write down prices for different products which will be published on the website I work for. That will be a very easy job where I will work twice a month for 7 - 8 hours in total and earn a few hundred dollars which will pay for bills/books and food when I study. This is really great! Thank you Jesus and thanks to all of you in this thread!

Lord Jesus, I Pray for All of us here and elsewhere that you sharpen our Spirit of discernment at this time to the workings of the enemy who is around each and every corner and increasing daily, help us not to grow weary through our struggles but to learn and gain strength from them at all times.
