He lives in an ocean front condo on the boardwalk in atlantic city. I talked with him yesterday and he will not evacuate or leave his condo. It's mandatory evacuations on all ocean front condos in atlantic city, but he will not go. Back when hurricane irene came through, they had mandatory evacuations then too but him and his girlfriend just turned out the lights and didn't answer the door when the cops did a search of the building. They stayed the whole time, and they didn't even loose power. Unfortunately, they think that this storm will be the same as Irene was. They are determined to stay and nothing I can say will talk him out of it. My father is 80 years old and takes alot of risks. I'm worried sick about him, the next 48 hours are going to be filled with alot of stress and anxiety until he calls and says that he's ok.
