Lisa*Lisa, Thank you for starting this thread. It is a blessing to know that there are people in the world who genuinely care.

I have a friend who I pray for daily who doesn't know Christ. I have tried to talk to him about it and at one point he prayed to have God come into his life. The problem is that he took Anthology and Philosophy at a university and now sees God as someone people made up to cope with life. However, sometimes he does wonder if God is real because things in nature are too perfect.

He feels alone and says, "We are born alone and we die alone" and has a lot of troubles from his past that he can't let go of and make him feel like he isn't deserving of the companionship of other people.

It hurts me to see him like this and with the help of God I want him to know that he is forgiven for past mistakes and is deserving of love and companionship. I would like to see him truly happy.
