'CONTRAILS' are the normal trails of jets and comprise of ice crystals formed from moisture emitted in the engine exhaust and usually evaporate within a few minutes of appearing. Contrails are usually only made and observed at fairly high altitudes, in most cases, in temperate regions, above 25,000 feet. Contrails are ICE.




'CHEMTRAILS' are laid down in a similar way to normal contrails, but do not evaporate; instead they linger in the air, disperse widely and form a greyish, streaky cloud-like cover which can last all day. They are not made of ice crystals, but of solid, very fine, particulate matter. And will therefore land on the ground, water, sea, and in our lungs, as widely dispersed, but nevertheless, SOLID physical matter.

Ignoble I have a pilot question. When the pilot comes over the intercom system and says the primary electrical system has gone out and we are flying on back up so we are going to turn around and go back to the airport is it dangerous? We landed on the runway where they apparently stored all the fire trucks. I didn't know airports had runways like that. I didn't know they had that many fire trucks either. Anyway was that dangerous?

He said it like we maybe had the option of flying over the ocean with just the secondary system but he decided to go back.

I have wondered about this for a long time ignoble.
