IBEX shows interstellar wind flowing from the same location as Ophiuchus Serpentarius (13th Zodiac)
I wish I could embed this image, but this is really strange. The new IBEX finding shows the interstellar wind is flowing into our solar system from this exact area. Above scorpio and between libra and saggitarius.

[link to i.space.com]

I just happened to come across this tidbit of information which points to that EXACT spot IBEX has identified as being the entry point of the interstellar wind.

Astrologers, or those interested in the historical development of astrology, will point out that some systems include a thirteenth sign of the zodiac known as Ophiuchus Serpentarius, the Serpent Holder. This constellation lies between Sagittarius and Libra, somewhat over Scorpio. In the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries this constellation was called Alpheichius. Known as the "God of Invocation", this house was named after the legendary healer, Ophiuchus (Asclepius). The two serpents in his hands later replaced the twin ribbons around the caduceus which became a symbol for physicians. Plato called this thirteenth sign "the god of the underworld".

Re: IBEX shows interstellar wind flowing from the same location as Ophiuchus Serpentarius (13th Zodiac)
So what happened to the 13th zodiac? How is it possible that the two seemingly separate things are so closely related? I didn't think too much of the IBEX map until I came across some serpent symbolism and found that information, I however know nothing about astrology or its history.

Re: IBEX shows interstellar wind flowing from the same location as Ophiuchus Serpentarius (13th Zodiac)
In ancient Egyptian mythology the world was created by four powers, one of which was the sun god Amun-Ra who took the form of a snake and emerged from the water to inseminated the cosmic egg, the kneph, which was created by the other gods. In another story, a god named Hathor transformed himself into a poisonous snake called Agep and killed Seth. He also guarded the wheat fields where the spirit of Horus was said to live, bringing the sheaf of wheat to be regarded as the symbol of rebirth.

In Greek mythology Zeus freed two eagles which met at the centre of the world, sometimes called the navel of the earth, which is guarded by a snake called Pytho. The symbol Serpens Candivorens, a snake biting its tail, represents the unending cycle of nature between destruction, and new creation, life and death. The Greeks called this figure Ouroboros. Chinese mythology maintained that the world was surrounded by two entwined snakes, which symbolized the power and wisdom of the creator. In another legend the Buddha was attacked by a snake which bound itself seven times around his waist. Due to the inner strength of the Buddha, the snake could not kill him but instead became his follower.

Indeed, just goes to show the ancient people of this planet knew more than we did but wrote it down as best they understood it which may have been lost in translation or meaning along the way. Serpents could easily be glowing plasma with discharges of electricity. This new information put along side the petroglyph stuff is really a mind blower. The ancient people somehow were able to see plasma and we cannot. Why is that? Is it because of the solar environment or because of something on Earth, perhaps even biologically, stopping us from seeing the invisible plasma around us.

I didn't even know the solar winds were coming from that direction...that is what you were saying right? Ophiuchus is kinda interesting, I don't know how I feel about the whole Dec 2012 thing, but it was interesting that around ~ 23rd at the end of the this year, it looked like the sun will be facing or aligned with Ophiuchus, the Serpent holder/tamer guy.

I always did wonder if he symbolized a person that overcame some beastly, or serpent, aspect or something.

People's ignorance of history astounds me. HELLO!! The Catholic church enlisted the Templars to go out and destroy every piece of information regarding the 13th Zodiac, Quezticotal (sp?)

However, the Templars kept the knowledge of the 13th alive, by building it into the face of their OWN CHURCH. I can't remember the name of the church, or I would have you google what I've told you.

No. The Chilean earthquake, like all earthquakes, affected the earth's axis by an amount far too small to detect, a matter of milliarcseconds. It has nothing to do with Ophiuchus. The line of the ecliptic passes through the borders of 13 constellations, that's not new. The borders of the constellations were formally established by the IAU in 1930 (though even this 18th century star map shows the ecliptic passing through the feet of the figure of Ophiuchus: [link to en.wikipedia.org] ). When those borders were established, it became official in astronomy that the ecliptic passed through 13 constellations, not 12. News stories about the "13th zodiac sign" go back to at least the 80's.

The 13th sign of the zodiac, unlike the other 12 signs is actually associated with a real person. In the 27th Century BCE in Ancient Egypt lived a man known as Imhotep. Imhotep was known as ‘Aesclepius’ by the Ancient Greeks, however the attributes are the same under either name.

Sepent holder

One of Imhoteps abilities was healing and it is said that it was he who introduced it to mankind. His accomplishments also included a wide knowledge of medicine. The serpent or snake symbol which is still used today to symbolize the medical profession was also used to represent Imhotep

This is near the area I saw a Light Craft after praying a prayer to my brothers and sisters that "are in this whole thing together with us" to help.

No joke, it was a craft of light, that just literally appeared from black space. Then, it started to move, almost organic like because there was some type of "tail" that followed as it covered the space back up. Real "5D" type stuff LOL!

Anyways... I am just seeking the truth

I'm too young to remember stuff in the 80's... There's barely any information about the 13th zodiac these days compared to everything else. I found the information on a freemason website from Canada LOL. I'm still a little surprised from how well the IBEX inflow of the interstellar wind matches up perfectly with this 13th constellation.

In 2005, astronomers using data from the Green Bank Telescope discovered a superbubble so large that it extends beyond the plane of the galaxy. It is called the Ophiuchus Superbubble.

In April 2007, astronomers announced that the Swedish-built Odin satellite had made the first detection of clouds of molecular oxygen in space, following observations in the constellation Ophiuchus.

[link to en.wikipedia.org]

Supernova 1604, also known as Kepler's Supernova, Kepler's Nova or Kepler's Star, was a supernova that occurred in the Milky Way, in the constellation Ophiuchus. As of September 2011, it is the last supernova to have been unquestionably observed in our own galaxy, occurring no farther than 6 kiloparsecs or about 20,000 light-years from Earth. Visible to the naked eye, it was brighter at its peak than any other star in the night sky, and all the planets (other than Venus), with apparent magnitude −2.5. It was visible during the day for over three weeks.

[link to en.wikipedia.org]

Looks like there's many interesting things to observe in the direction of this constellation. These celestial events and others are the basis of so many myths. If we can understand the cause of the myths and legends, we can finally be able to understand what ancient people meant with the stories they wrote. But now we can understand them in a way that we study and observe these events. Dr. Anthony Perrat is one of those scientists who has made the link between plasma lab experiments and petroyglyphs. And I'm certain there are many more works of "art" and stories which all have a basis in reality and celestial events we have not yet encountered in our modern world.

I'm not sure about that, however the supernova in the past would have carved out a tunnel as it traveled towards us over the 20+ light years, if we are headed in the same direction. Therefore changing the galactic environment we travel through, allowing us to move through the surrounding clouds without too much change. It would be like a laser cutting through the ocean and the ocean doesn't fill the gap very quickly, if ever, unless another supernova or stellar wind pushed more plasma in the tunnel. The supernova would have deposited the material there into our solar system.

I'm not suggesting anything else. Just that the place of the 13th zodiac and the new IBEX discovery are exactly the same. I didn't know we even had a 13th one... Something must've happened in ancient times that caused people to see filaments of plasma which they referred to as serpents and dragons. If it normally doesn't glow, something has to make it more dense in order for it to glow and be seen with our eyes. Much more denser. Perhaps a dense plasma cloud? Streaming in from the heliosphere and into our solar system, unseen and invisible for now. Pushing the heliosphere inwards and making it shrink, causing more cosmic rays to reach Earth and the magnetosphere.

Goofy Thum

Independent investigators, with an eye to electrical phenomena, suggest that our early ancestors saw heaven-spanning plasma discharge in the sky, when Earth moved through a more dense plasma environment. Earthshaking electrical activity not only decimated early cultures but dominated human imagination for thousands of years. But only in recent decades have plasma experts identified complementary plasma formations in the laboratory and in remote space.

[link to thunderbolts.info]

At a time when the magnetic field of the earth experienced a major influx of charged particles from space, radiant plasma shapes with a heavily threaded surface might have formed that could go down in history as snake-like dragons covered in feathers. But were such forms contained within the upper atmosphere of the earth or, as others have suggested, external to the earth (though very close)? That question remains to be answered. One objective of Peratt’s work is to identify the precise placement of the formations, by comparing tens of thousands of ancient images carved on stone around the world. He believes that simple geometry, in combination with global positioning data, can settle the question.

Re: IBEX shows interstellar wind flowing from the same location as Ophiuchus Serpentarius (13th Zodiac)
Isn't it odd how it's a perfect fit to a missing zodiac? The exact same place the interstellar wind flows into our solar system, something no human could have known until we discovered this fact recently.

"The signs of the zodiac have roots in mythology and relate to the legend of how the 12 Olympian gods took animal shapes to flee the monster Typhon who was causing havoc on Earth."
[link to www.dailymail.co.uk]

[link to en.wikipedia.org]

Look into the myth of typhon and it's all to do with serpents and fire. Serpents and fire, makes you wonder doesn't it. People back then could only describe things they didn't know about by comparing them to things they did.

I totally forgot about this thread until I saw the IBEX image again. This is more than mere coincidence for sure. There were people in the past who made this zodiac vanish from the common person's consciousness. For what reason?
