"Stop complaining, you're not a princess. You caused your own problems by acting like an animal. You don't go around punching people in the face. If you can't do the time, don't commit the crime. Put your big girl pants on and go do the hours at the soup kitchen and be glad that you didn't get a tougher punishment. If the old pervert continues to look at you after you show up in a baggy teeshirt, no makeup and large sweat pants, tell him loudly in front of other people to knock it off. If he touches you, call the police. In the meantime, keep your mouth shut and learn from this experience so maybe next time you won't end up in jail and ruin your chances at having a decent life. Learn how to manage situations in the proper way or this is the first of many problems you will face in life, and it will only continue to get worse."

Then I'd give you a hug and some cookies. Don't be mad at me OP, I love you, but you shouldn't be punching people in the face. That's not ok, learn from this experience.

What the heck do ya think any man is going to do if you are wearing skin tight, skin showing shirts. Some men are just not so obvious. Wear something like your momma would wear, and I'll bet you have less issue there.

You knocked your ex's teeth out and then you wonder why the police acted with extreme force when they arrested you?

"I'm only 110 lbs, I couldn't possibly hurt anyone." You told that to the judge, but the physical evidence proved otherwise. The police were told to arrest a crazy psycho who knocks out guys teeth. They took no chances.

At first I wanted to tell you to get over it and yourself, but after reading what happened to you at 18, you have every right to leave there and get out of an uncomfortable situation that brings back bad memories.I just hope the judge sees your point, and you may have to explain that to him in confidence.

No, what he did was not ok. But, the stronger person walks away. What you did was no better then what he did. Just because he did it first doesn't let you off the hook for returning the equally bad behavior.

If your life isn't in danger, then walk away. Just chalk this one up to a learning experien ce, and you'll know how to handle yourself better when the next issue in life arises. Take the high ground when people around you are doing the wrong thing.

So I went for an interview to start my 20 days of community service at the soup kitchen. I am not on probation but must report to an officer weekly. The point I'm making is I'm extremely nervous to go back because the old man made me extremely uncomfortable, but I also don't want them to think I'm trying to skip out.

I'm doing service for an $800 fine over disorderly conduct. I have never served jail time and am not on probation, do you think the judge will understand? Please help....

Thank you, but luckily the judge I'm dealing with is a sweetheart, he's saved some of my friends multiple times. I'm extremely good with people, but at the same time I'm scared around people because they always stare at me.

It's funny people don't know what the right thing to do is. Tell the officer you report to you were sexually harassed and don't feel comfortable there. You are there to provide a service to the community, not be objectified. You will still need to find another place to finish the community service. Good luck.

To say she was sexually harrassed, when that's a lie, is hardly the right thing to do.
