Its the Chinese that are crashing them. Except for the one in Iran they landed that one inorder to help the Iranians reverse engineer it.

These drones are run from encrypted wireless signals from a satellite. Once the encryption data is unencrypted the planes are like remote control toys.

I suspect someone has figured out the codes and is disabling the devices. Nothing is foolproof.

I should add that years ago it was discovered that the japanese were outsourcing sensitive electronics jobs to China. There was concern that the Chinese were building the motherboards that give our smart weapons their brains. And as they built them they were encrypting them with a disable code that would allow them simply remotely shut the device off.

I read it years ago and never heard anything of it again.. Perhaps it was true.
