Struggling with substance use of any kind is a common issue. And I totally agree that, energetically, something attaches to you and feeds off you when you are dependent upon a substance. What you call "demons" do exist, just probs not as described in the bible.

You are right to think something is attempting to hold you back, we give away our power all the time to the outside, rather than cherishing the power within. Personal sovereignty is very powerful and when you take charge and responsibility of your own life it can have wonderous effects.

My gf was on anti-depressants. I smoked MJ. Both had us in a grip of fear, unable to let go of them and live without them. We were giving our personal power away to these substances, saying "look after me, take away my problems". They hid the problems in a drug haze, and in the dark does the evil florish. When you shine a light on a bad thing, it loses it power, you see it for what it is.
