Just sayin...

WTF?

[link to www.fox5vegas.com]

Only 32,963 voters participated in the caucuses, far short of the 44,000 Republicans who voted in the 2008 GOP caucuses.

Also disparages between Washoe County's (2nd in. pop ie.. Reno) vote per population (high) and Clark County's (1st in pop. ie.. Las Vegas) (low).

Clark. 17,000 votes 1.8 mil in Population

1 per 100.

Washoe 6,800 votes 420,00 in Population

1 per 62

Again WTF...

well you have to have gas $ to get to the voting booth. Some may think finding work or keeping their home out of foreclosure may be more important. just keep them busy...then they wont vote.

OP,

Most of us Republicans who voted in Vegas in 2008 have moved out of Nevada.

2007 and 2008 were bad enough there, economically.

By 2009, the writing was on the wall for people who were paying attention.

I timed my moving date for Nov 4th, 2010 on purpose.

I wanted to personally vote against Reid and Obama before hitting the highway.

Seriously, I can't tell you how many intelligent friends (architects, CPA'S, small business owners, etc.) are now residing peacefully elsewhere.

Most within my block left so quickly they didn't have time to say good-bye to the rest of us and we'd been a tight group.

I sold my $250,000 home in Nov 2010 for $110,000 cash-owing nothing on it. And I consider myself lucky. I know many who want out but they're stuck. No longer working, no-one interested in buying their homes in Vegas, they sit in their homes, weeds overtaking their former, pristine lawns and polished cars.

Las Vegas will NEVER rebound.

I just checked and my home's worth has decreased to $60,000 in just a year. And just before leaving we were voted as one of the top 10 national neighborhoods to live in.

Good luck to you and make sure and thank the unions who encouraged all the illegal casino workers to vote for Obama.

Yeah, Jan Jones never did get investigated for that did she?

She bussed Harrah's union workers during work time to vote for Obamma.
