Today sees us being greeted with extremely alarming news from Vietnam, where authorities are reporting an H5N1 Epidemic in 23 hamlets from 5 districts.

Fortunately, there are no reports of human infection being reported, but the sudden emergence of an epidemicis is a genuine cause for concern.

The Quang Ngai provincial People’s Committee declared on August 31 that a bird flu epidemic has swept through 23 hamlets in 17 communes of five districts across the province. All of the nearly 80 blood samples sent from these localities tested positive for the A/H5N1 virus, prompting local authorities have culled 58,000 infected fowl.

30.05.12 Swine influenza experts share global surveillance data.

A look at the report that has been released from this internation symposium reveals some quite interresting and enlightening information.

Of special interest is the information that was presented from China where almost half of the worlds pig population exists, usually in the typical subsistance mixed village style farms.

There were two samples of where pigs were found carrying H5N1 and concerns remain that this reassortment may lead to a pandemic.

So far we have dodged the bullet but with this type of farming practice and numbers in the orders mentioned, its virtually inevidible that H5N1 will eventually go pandemic, and if it does make the mutations needed for that pandemic in a remote village, it is certain to be well out of control before the western world has a good opportunity to prepare for it.

Re: <<Advancing Bird Flu-H5N1...Now following MERS and Ebola approaching PANDEMICS>>>
Well it would seem that some of the suspicians raised here regarding the CDC's unusual handling of the H3N2v influenza outbreak in the US that was apparently associated with county fairs have come back and are now haunting the CDC.

It would appear the the CDC has indeed been involved in some sort of adgenda and have been less than open with the information they have been in possession of regarding this flu strain.

Apparently it is very much a human to human contagous virus and it apparently has been far more extensively spread than the CDC has been admitting to.

So now we know that the CDC has been deliberately lying over this matter, the question now is WHY.

Obviously they knew right from the outset of running this adgenda that their complicity would come to light, yet they proceeded with their actions never the less.

Does this mean that they have done what they did in order to buy time, and to what end.

From my stand point it really can only mean one thing, and that was to give this virus sufficient time to spread itself over a wide enough geographic area so as not to be able to be adequately contained, but what next?

This may sound a bit out there, however, this strain has the H1N1, "M" gene making it highly contagous, now if this particular flu strain has any type of characteristics that would predispose it to easy reassortment with other flu viruses, then the answer is somewhat easy to grasp.

Unlikely as it sounds I think that all this IS a deliberate attempt to use nature to speed up the process of having H5N1 find more opportunities for it to reassort itself and to go pandemic.

Its no news to know that the United Nations has been quite open in its views that this planet is well overpopulated and that it believes that we are in need of a rapid depopulating of the planet for the sake of sustainability, so it would be pretty obvious that they would see little wrong with the world suffering a pandemic that would see their views achieved.

Keep in mind that the World Health Organization is an arm of the United Nations, and naturally the WHO has very close links to the CDC.

The UN's general credibility is regularly criticized and usually with very good reason, so when we see all these inter relationships , then the possibilities that are being aired here might not be such a long reach to conclude with.

Naturally all this is sounding very paranoid and conspiracy theorist, however stranger things have previously happened, and never say never.

In actual fact the less credible this scenario may sound would give it a higher possibility of being attempted, simply because its an unlikley possibility.

The CDC's performance is completely out of character here, so there has to be a reason for it.

Time will tell if these suppositions eventuate, hopefully they wont, but there wont be too many surprises if all this does actually come to be.

Kentucky H3N2v Case Raises Serious Pandemic Concerns
Recombinomics Commentary 23:55
September 1, 2012

The CDC has released another series of early August H3N2v sequences (collected between August 5-10) from isolates in Michigan (A/Michigan/14/2012), West Virginia (A/West Virginia/15/2012), Illinois (A/Illnois/09/2012), Ohio (A/Ohio/52/2012) and Kentucky (A/Kentucky/11/2012). All sets of sequences were closely related to each other and the 34 prior sets of sequences from Hawaii, Indiana, Ohio, Maryland, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin indicating the novel sub-clade had clonally spread across the United States via sustained human transmisison. These sequences were closely related to the prior 2012 isolate, A/Utah/10/2012, as well as the two sequences from a 2011 West Virginia day care cluster A/West Virginia/06/2011 and A/West Virginia/07/2011, where 23 contacts of the index case had ILI and there was no swine contact or exposure.

All of the above sequences were from outbreaks which have been described by the CDC in various publications such as FluView, MMWR, Have You Heard, or various H3N2v website including the state case count that is updated each Friday, with the exception of the Kentucky isolate. That sample was collected on August 5, 2012 and was deposited at GISAID on August 24, but not released until today.

Thus, the CDC was well aware of the Kentucky case prior to updates on August 24 and 31, but this case was not cited.

India continues to report increases in the incidence of H1N1, but officials seem to be playing down this news, perhaps to prevent panic, but when do you decide that its better to admit something and then move forward to actively confront the problem?

Surely its better to maintain the confidence of the citizenry and take a pro-active role early in the game that to wait till its too late and no longer be in any position to combat the problem, compounded with a loss of public confidence.

LUCKNOW: Eight fresh positive cases of H1N1 infection were reported on Saturday out of 22 samples, which went for examination at the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences. And if, SGPGI sources are to be believed, then majority of the cases reported at SGPGI emanated from Lucknow. On Friday, out of 41 samples, which went for H1N1 confirmation, 13 tested positive. With this, the total count of H1N1 positive cases has reached 49.

Confirming the development, head of microbiology department at SGPGIMS, Prof TN Dhole said that on Friday the total positive cases reported at SGPGI was 13, while on Saturday, it was eight. At the same time, as many as 41 and 22 samples were received by the institution on Friday and Saturday respectively.

However, health officials continue to be in denial mode over rising swine flu cases in the city.

Well with this next article it seems that officials might be saying one thing publicly but they are in fact preparing appropriately for an outbreak of H1N1.

BHUBANESWAR: With Swine Flu resurfacing in several parts of the country, particularly neighbouring Andhra Pradesh, fear of its spread in Odisha looms large.

The State Government has begun to gear up its surveillance system and initiate precautionary measures to handle any emergency. Instructions have been issued to all the district hospitals, the three medical colleges and hospitals along with the private ones to be prepared to handle cases, if any. They have been asked to ready isolation wards, while supplies of required medicine and preventive kits have been sent to the facilities. The district administrations have also been asked to keep vigil on the situation.

Well, firstly let me thank our UK anon for all that great research and content, its good to see you back on the job and your diligence as sharp as ever, so a huge thank you for everything.

Unfortunately "Rizalabs" must have taken offence at my extracting and linking to articles and posts on their site, as when I decided a long time ago to join their group I was immediately slapped with a permanent ban.

I requested to have this ban lifted several times as I had complied with industry standards and always respected copyright practices, as I always do, but apparently that wasnt sufficient for them, so I remain banned.

Its a warning to any other readers visiting that site, apparently they like to think that they are more special than most, and have no tollerance for fair use of their information, though they probably use ours on a regular basis as I notice many other blog sites doing.

I have always held the view that all knowledge on this subject should be spread and shared freely, as it is a topic that could be life saving.

So with that in mind I do condem "Rizalabs", for what I would brand as unfair and unreasonable actions.

I would welcome any other poster who can gain access as a "guest" to collect any applicable information that might be posted there and re-post it here, but naturally please observe the permissimable conventions in relation to copyright fair use policy.

And, it might be a good idea to remain anonamous to them as Im sure any attempt to "join" that group will also get you banned for the reasons mentioned above.

Also, as I believe that name and shame is a valid and effective action where justified and applicable, I invite anyone else with constructive criticizm to add their contributions.

In the end when we do this we actually facilitiate a sort of natural selection process that is constantly improving itself for the overall benefit of everyone, and that is a worthwhile process of improvement.

cheers

Re: <<Advancing Bird Flu-H5N1...Now following MERS and Ebola approaching PANDEMICS>>>
Revisiting the H3N2v saga in the USA, we have some more news that raises even more questions.

Firstly this current article that identifies patient zero, as a minor who was identified as coming from a day care centre in August 2011, which we already know.

But, notice that this patient was hospitalized initially for other medical concerns AND that this patient was NOT symptomatic for H3N2v until after two days of entry into hospital.

This is a sufficient incubation timeframe for this illness to have been acquired from WITHIN the hospital, and could infer that patient zero contracted this very first case of this H3N2v strain while hospitalized!

So now the question...

Exactly where did this new virus come from to become the first human case with this strain, and just how convenient was it that it has appeared in a hospital setting and to a patient who had been interned for two days before developing this flu.

I would really like to know exactly what the reason for the hospitalization initially was, and what proceedures this patient was administered with in those first two days in hospital, especially if any IV drips were used, or injections given and by whom and for what.

These questions incidentally are or at least should be contained in that patients records and therefore should be easily accessed.

Sorry folks, but I dont believe in spontaneous events like this.

This was and had to be a deliberate act to infect this child with this strain and if asked, Id be saying that it had been previously and externally engineeed, then artificially introduced to patient zero.

There is little room for any other conclusion, however I would genuinely appreciate any other explaination for this senario as I dont wish to be considering that someone would actually resort to these actions, but at this stage this does seem to be the most plausable explaination.

Hospitalized H3N2v Cases Identify Community Transmission
Recombinomics Commentary 22:45
September 3, 2012

On November 19, a child aged <5 years developed acute onset of fever after 1 week of cough and congestion. The child had been hospitalized for an unrelated condition 2 days before the onset of fever.

Lake County Deputy Health Commissioner Ron Graham said a child was recently hospitalized for a short time, but recovered and is back home.

The above MMWR comment (in red) describes “patient zero” (1F) for the current H3N2v pandemic. As noted, she was hospitalized for an unrelated condition and the initial influenza rapid test was negative. However, a subsequent rRT-PCR test was positive and the sample was forward to the West Virginia Office of Laboratory Services (WV-OLS) confirmed the PCR test with the CDC RT-PCR test which suggested the patient was H3N2v infected. The CDC confirmed H3N2v via sequencing (A/West Virginia/06/2011).

Re: <<Advancing Bird Flu-H5N1...Now following MERS and Ebola approaching PANDEMICS>>>
From my last post on H3N2v, immediately above this post, further into that extract there is a link that takes you to the following.

This next piece of information also supports the contention that this strain has been engineered and that there appears to have been another seperate attempt to artificially infect people, this time the incident took place in Maine, where there have been isloates discovered, and again the existance of swine as the vector had been clearly eliminated though very conveniently associated with another county fair, they just got their timing wrong, but their modus operandi was exactly the same.

There seems to be a very sinister aspect to this very closely related flu strain to the common seasonal strain of this year, but we know several out of character things about it.

The first is the this strain carries the "M" gene from H1N1 which makes it highly human contagous.

Next this strain has been spreading at an alarming rate and in the "out of season" period, which is very uncharacteristic, and it has consistantly but wrongly been associated with county fairs where there have (conveniently) been several cases of cross infection from swine to humans.

And finally the CDC has been involved in somewhat covering up the real facts surrounding the spread and extent of this strain by using skewed assesments and reporting only on these results until now when the information is available that reveals the CDC's complicit actions.

It is also notable the the CDC's information regarding this strain doesent come close the the USDA's assesments on the same topic, which again would indicate an artificial and arranged aspect to this strain and its outbreak and geographic spread.

This appears to be a carefully thought out and executed attempt to make this strain appear to be natural by using minimal primary influences and then associating the rest of the whole senario with county fairs, a convenient cover up, except somebody forgot to tell other different government agencies to look the other way for a bit.

I am absolutely convinced that give or take some of the finer detail here, that this is a general account of what has really occurred with this "M" gene carrying strain of H3N2v.

Somebody wants it in circulation for a reason, and its pretty obvious why.

Did you ever hear of "The Butterfly Effect"?

The above chart list the first two confirmed influenza cases in West Virginia in the 2011/2012 season. The first case listed (week 47) is the novel trH3N2 case, A/West Virginia/06/2011, while the second case (week 49) is an epidemiologically linked case that has produced a weak influenza A signal and is under investigation at the CDC. If confirmed and closely related to the first case, it would raise the number of novel influenza cases in West Virginia to two out of two PCR confirmed cases. This result is remarkable similar to Maine, which also has two confirmed cases (A/Maine/06/2011 and A/Maine/07/2011 in weeks 41 and 43, respectively) and both are H3N2pdm11. Although the two Maine cases are not epidemiologically linked, the partial sequences from ME/07/11 are virtually identical to ME/06/11, signaling human to human transmission. Although the two Maine cases attended the same agricultural fair (Fryeburg) which had symptomatic swine, the swine tested negative for SOIVs and the fair ended two weeks prior to disease onset, eliminating the swine at the fair, including those in the pig scramble, as sources of the H3N2pdm11 detected in the second case. Thus, the sequence data supports widespread H3N2pdm11 in humans, not swine.

With their covert work on H3N2v now becoming exposed, the CDC seems to be coming back on line as the impecable organization it should be with these newer results and actions from them.

Perhaps they are hoping that they will maintain their credibility in the aftermath of all that previously mentioned especially as their adgenda is now confortably in motion.

They can go into deniability mode, and they'll probably get away with it all too, unless someone comes forward and applies some serious pressure for closer examination of the finer details on patient zero and several other key aspects.

Minnesota H1N2v Has 2011 H3N2v Genes Including MP
Recombinomics Commentary 01:15
September 4, 2012

The CDC has released a full set of sequences (at GISAID) from one of the H1N2v isolates from Minnesota, A/Minnesota/12/2012 (collected August 26). The CDC is to be commended for the rapid release of this importnat sequence.

Unlike the H1N2 isolate from 2011, A/Minnesota/19/2011, the current sequence has an H1N1pdm09 M gene that is closely related the M gene in 2011 human cases, which is also true for PB2, PA, NA, and MP, raising concerns of human adaptation.

Michael is constantly on top of this topic and I freely admit to reading and occasionally posting some of his information on this thread due to the well sourced information, and also his easy to read and understand writing style.

Its always a pleasure to visit his site and I would recommend bookmarking it and regularly visiting it for excellent information.

This next article is very revealing in that it finds that it is very likley that flu is transmitted in the absence of any symptoms, making it even more difficult to prevent large to pandemic outbreaks.

Influenza Is Transmissible Before Onset Of Symptoms

Flu can be transmitted before symptoms appear, researchers from Imperial College London reported in the journal PLoS ONE after carrying out experiments on ferrets. The scientists say that if their animal experiments apply to humans, people infected with the flu virus may be passing it on to others unwittingly, making it extremely hard to prevent epidemics.

When health authorities plan for epidemics, they expect to know whether people are infectious before symptoms appear. However, this has been hard to establish from data gathered when epidemics occur. Previous studies have indicated that the majority of cases of human-to-human transmission took place after symptoms developed, however, some happen before.
