Thank you to UK anon for spotting this very worrying news.

Essentailly the report is saying that two people have tested positive for H5N1, but the troubling thing is that at this stage there appears to be NO apparent contact with poultry.

Authorities are unable to establish how these grave illnesses were contracted.

Here is an exerp from the story.

We should monitor this situation very closely as we dont know what the vector has been in this case and the implications may be what we dont want to know, lets hope not.

Again many thanks to our always right on the spot, UK anon for the excellent detective work.

GUIYANG, Feb. 10 (Xinhua) -- China on Sunday reported two human cases of highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1 in southwestern city of Guiyang, the Ministry of Health announced.

A 21-year-old woman and a 31-year-old man, who developed symptoms on Feb. 2 and Feb 3, respectively, tested positive for H5N1 virus on Sunday, the ministry said, citing local health authorities.

"They are in critical condition and medical workers are carrying out emergency treatment," the ministry said in a statement. "No epidemiological connections have been found between the two cases."

An investigation did not find the two had contacts with fowls before they fell ill, it said.

This is the second case to hit Britain after a 49-year-old Qatari man was treated at a London hospital in September for the virus.

The HPA said five patients had died worldwide as a result of the disease.

Five cases have been confirmed in Saudi Arabia resulting in three deaths, while two patients treated in Jordan have died, the agency said. A patient from Qatar was treated for the virus in Germany and given the all-clear.

Coronaviruses cause most common colds but can also cause SARS (severe acute respiratory syndrome).

The SARS epidemic killed more than 800 people when it swept out of China in 2003, sparking a major international health scare.

Thank you again UK anon for stepping in, your work here and elsewhere are most greatfully acknowledged and as you know I will always consider you a very special friend and real buddy even though we live on opposite sides of the world.

It has long been my feeling that we share a rare and special connection that speaks of a commitment to do something good for others and you demonstrate that so eloquently.

I only wish that I possesed some of your more refined and sophisticated talents.

As I have often said I love to enjoy some peace and you have a special ability to see and answer that for me.

I will be away from Saturday and would love for you to continue your wonderful works here while Im having a sebatical on the ocean, being well away from the daily madness and absorbing the serenity that only many miles out to sea can bring.

Hope you dont mind my reliance on you, but you do what you do so well that it has become a rod for your back.

I can only hope that the end of that rod is covered with sweetly perfumed flowers for you to enjoy.

cheers

Re: <<Advancing Bird Flu-H5N1...Now following MERS and Ebola approaching PANDEMICS>>>
I spotted this news for Cambodia where they are experiencing their worst year since the initial H5N1 outbreak.

This is a fresh report of yet another confirmed case of H5N1 in a child from Cambodia.

Fortunately, the victim is apparently recovering and appears to be showing positive results to treatment.

This report doesent carry any information on the vectoring of the disease, but its my guess that it will likely be contact with poultry as has been the norm with Cambodian cases this year.

Cambodia reported on Wednesday that another 4-year-old girl has contracted Avian Influenza H5N1, becoming the seventh person who infected the virus in 2013. Dr. Denis Laurent, deputy director of Kantha Bopha Children's Hospital, which is the kingdom's largest pediatric hospital, said the victim is from Angkor Phnom Touch commune, Angkor Chey district of Southwestern Kampot province. She has received medical treatment at the hospital in Phnom Penh since last Wednesday. "Now, her condition is stable," he said over telephone on Wednesday.

There has been recent news of the novel coronavirus that emerged in Jordan and then showed up in Saudi Arabia that has now been seen in a person in the UK who had recently travelled to Pakistan and the Middle East.

Following this case there has now emerged another case in the UK who had no recent history of travel which suggests that this new novel coronavirus has become H2H transmissible by airborne vectoring.

This could be a major change with this potentially deadly bug and again close attention needs to be kept for more similar infections.

A resident of the United Kingdom was diagnosed bearer of the new virus similar to SARS. This is the eleventh case globally.

An eleventh case new global SARS coronavirus close was diagnosed in a resident of the United Kingdom, the family of a patient treated for the same disease, which "suggests a transmission from person to person," said Wednesday health authorities.

According to the UK's Health Protection (HPA), it is the third case in the UK detected this virus family that SARS has so far caused the deaths of five people (three in Saudi Arabia and two in Jordan).

The patient, who resides in the United Kingdom and has not traveled recently received intensive care at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham (center), the HPA said in a statement, adding that the case was "to eleven the number of confirmed cases in the world.

The agency said the patient was vulnerable to respiratory infections.

In further developments regarding the novel coronavirus infected person in the UK who had travelled to Pakistan and the Middle East, it has also been revealed that this person has been co-infected from H1N1 Swine Flu which also has the pandemic "M" gene.

This is a very concerning development and could signal a change that hasnt been previously encountered, the affects of which are at present unknown.

Hopefully this is an unusual and unique case.

Novel Coronavirus H1N1pdm09 Dual Infection In UK Case
Recombinomics Commentary 17:00
February 11, 2013

The United Kingdom (UK) has informed WHO of a confirmed case with infection of the novel coronavirus (NCoV). The case is a UK resident who developed symptoms of illness on 26 January 2013. Laboratory investigations on respiratory specimens have revealed both an Influenza A(H1N1)pdm09 infection and a confirmed NCoV infection. He is hospitalized in intensive care unit.

Preliminary investigation reveals that the patient had a history of travel to Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. Further investigation into the case is ongoing.

Re: <<Advancing Bird Flu-H5N1...Now following MERS and Ebola approaching PANDEMICS>>>
This next post is well worth the read as its author makes understanding the real characteristics of the novel coronavirus far clearer that the cloudy and poorly understood and expressed journalism indicates from MSM.

This is a good lesson for us all to be aware of, there is nothing that can replace good source material, and it is rarely found in second hand reporting in the Main Stream Media, journalists just dont have the time to fully understand the issues and therefore their works will nearly always be lacking in some improtant datail.

A novel coronavirus has been diagnosed in a third person in the UK, providing the first evidence that it can be passed between people.

The Health Protection Agency (HPA) has confirmed that a third UK resident has been confirmed with the respiratory disease and is receiving intensive care treatment at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.

Unlike the other two cases, the third patient has no history of recent travel and so did not pick up the infection overseas.

The above comment, claiming that the latest novel beta coronavirus infection provides “the first evidence that it can pass between people” is demonstrably false. The latest case is the 11th confirmed case, and creates the third cluster.

Further information on the novel coronavirus is pointing to several issues that we have previously spoken of in this thread.

They include the obvious lack of tranparency coming from the WHO in this matter, leaving the unanswered question of WHY?

And, not to forget our extremely devious and dangerous Minister of Health for Jordan who has attempted to cover up valuable information regarding this ew novel coronavirus that first emerged in one of his disgustingly neglected hospitals.

Yesterday I reported that there had been another case of H5N1 being reported in Cambodia, and that this patient was responding positivey to treatment.

Regrettably today there is news that this poor child has succumed to this deadly killer.

The bird flu has claimed the life of a Cambodian toddler. The 3-year-old girl has become the sixth fatality of the latest outbreak. The young child reportedly came into contact with poultry in her southern Kampot province village.

There have been recent poultry deaths in the same Cambodian village, US News reports. There have been seven cases of the bird flu in the country so far this year. Only one H5N1 victim survived the infection.
