Well we have some good news and some, well itll be good in a while maybe. This story speaks of research work being done here in Australia by our CSIRO scientists. They are developing new ways to interfer with viral infection and spread, and the good news is that they might be on track with a new and promising treatment. The "in a while" bit comes from the comment, "Researchers estimate it will take up to seven years before the drug is released.". New Drug Developed to Combat Flu Pandemic 22 February 2013
AUSTRALIA - CSIRO scientists have helped to design a new drug to safeguard against epidemic and pandemic flu strains – as published in "Science".
