After so many year why would Assad just start killing his own people.

Syria has had a repressive dictatorship in power for decades. This civil war started after Assad brutally crushed peaceful demonstrations.

You know this for a fact how?

Why does everyone refer to people living in a country that has a dictatorship as "his people." They are not "his people." If everyone would realize governments are "our people" the world would be much better off. I wonder what would happen here if we all starting calling and emailing our Federal employees and reminded them that they work for us and not the other way around. Hmmm, they would probably starting killing "their people."

Thats not good enough, man wants power. You know how they say money cant buy love? cause it cant, sure it can buy a lot of sex, cars, all the trappings, but it cant buy happiness. We all want to be happy right? And what is this "happiness" they speak of? Do we even know any more?

The bible tells us in the ten commandments, do not kill, so what do we do?....we kill. It tells us, do not wish for what your neigbours have, so what do we do? we try as hard as we can to keep up with the "jones's"

Every fucking rule there is we break. Why? well, I would suggest its because of "power"

What do you give a man who has everything? the answer, is MORE POWER. After all, what else is there?

The people that find themselves with this "power" often lose it. Why? a)cause other people take it off them, b) cause they become delusional in trying to keep hold of theyre power, instead of letting go when they should.

Like a polaticion who should step down because theyve been there too long and are really just filling in time, but no, they try to hang on until they are dragged out kicking and screaming.

Its all about gluttony, its all about greed, and selfishness, and egotism, and every other trait that makes us human, or should I say takes away our humanity.

There are those of us who wish for peace, and those who long for war. There are those who beleive in reincarnation, and those who wait pateintly for Jesus, and of course there are those that beleive in all these things and still want war. And there are those that dont want anything. There are those that dont even beleive in anything at all and dont understand what all the fuss is about.

Its not Assad, its Humanity. Its the right time for forwhatever is going to happen. I can feel it. I can almost smell it. And it smells like death. It feels cold and clammy. It doesnt matter who "wins" the people will get what they "need" regardless. And those same people will be "ruled" by the ruler they need, and that ruler will be ruled by the same rulers behind the curtains that have allways been there.

The point of no return, the event horizon was reached back in the middle ages. We have run out of stepping stones, and there is nowhere left to step except on each other.

Can one imagine counting the numbers of the days, that people have waited, longed for, that beautiful moment when we pass from this mortal coil, this realm of death and beauty and misery and destruction and killing and war and flowers and art and music and love and rape and murder and greed and power and powerless and loss and sadness,
