JFK was President when I was her age. No one, not the "most powerful, most famous man or earth", nor anyone else could have persuaded me to be subjected to the vile, humiliating, offensive things that she just willingly fell over backwards to do and allow to be done to her.
They (Kennedy and his "best friend, Dave") would have had to kill me before subjecting my body to their filth. And I wasn't even a Christian at that age. It seems to me that a girl who was a virgin as she claimed, would have been more protective of her virginity and her reputation. There would have been no way I would have cooperated with that offensive, disgusting sexual immorality, not with promises of love, fame, job security, not all the treasures in this world. It isn't believable that she was innocent and virginal...she yeilded too easily to be as innocent as she claimed.

Yes, Kennedy and his friends were repulsive sleeze bags, as are most people who have power. Without Jesus in control of a person's life, men especially will use women, even 19 year olds who allow it. And those who do not have the Lord may as well, for they are lost anyway. Non Christians cannot be expected to be virtuous, noble people. However, there were virtuous men in ages past where they respected and protected women, especially young innocent women.

Noble, honorable men, whether Christian or not, (people in power positions like Kennedy and Clinton, Gingrich... insert name of almost any politician you can think of) SHOULD have a protective attitude toward the young women who are under their authority. But they are not noble; we live in a sick, lost and perishing world. Unfortunately we live in a sick society, and honor seems to be outdated.

How a person conducts his/her sex life is indicative of their character. If they are corrupt in sex they cannot be trusted with anything.

He who is faithful in very little is faithful in much; he who is dishonest in very little is also dishonest in much.

This is several other posts on this thread that applaud sexual immorality display an ignorance of God's guidelines for the human race. God set up this world with a basic principle: land spews out....vomits out.... those who defile a land with immorality.
There is a tie between wrongful sexual practice and ecological and financial disaster. History shows a record of ecological disasters because of the sexual looseness of the people. The land cannot stand the people anymore and vomits them out. This connection between sexual immorality (which accompanies corruption in every other facet of an individual's life) and destruction is very clear.

Leviticus 18:25 "For the land has become defiled, therefore I have visited its punishment upon it, so the land has spewed out its inhabitants."

The perishing view this principle as "weird, stupid, foolish," but it is a principle which will prevail through eternity. Disasters, ecological and financial are happening at an escalating rate, and they will continue as long as humans persist in this sexual immorality, which is only a symptom of their all consuming corruption.

Yes, and if we represented the entirety of the country, our "weird" worldview would have prevented the economic collapse and ecological disasters that are happening. If our sexual morality, which is a sign of integrity in other areas, were prevalent, this world would not be having the devastating problems that exist.

Yes, sex is a powerful human drive. How we control that drive is indicative of morality or immorality in all areas of our life.
All over the world, it is evil when it is hurtful to others.
Sex was meant by God Himself to be the most pleasurable experience that we can have, and He defined the parameters.

We, His believers, are His bride, because He knew that the human emotions and powerful feelings that we have regarding our groom or our bride, is the most powerful one we can understand in anticipating His return for us. As a bride breathlessly awaits her groom with the expectation of the greatest experience in life..... so we await the Savior.

Sex IS indeed a powerful drive, and used improperly, it is INDEED evil. It causes more problems than anything else in life when people do not exercise the proper use of it. It causes the greatest joy and happiness in life when it is experienced properly and righteously. When I see a person who is unfaithful and promiscuous in sex, I know and everyone else can know that that is an EVIL, SINFUL individual. Our attitude toward sex and the way we live sexually tells who we are, what we are and where we are ultimately going. Any self-centered person who sexually uses and discards others deserves any evil that results from that behavior.

Each person chooses. It would have been fine for them to have had a moral father, with moral and spiritual guidance, but they all "did what was right in their own eyes," and ignored God's guidelines which were available to each of them. None of them had any excuse. They all perished because of their wrong choices. Their totally corrupt lifestyle was evident in their rampant sexual immorality, and when they stand before God, none of them have an excuse. That applies also tothe 19 year old intern.

There are multiple things wrong with what kennedy did. A moral compass is not easy to have and kennedy obviously didn't have one.

You can rationalize it and make all kinds of excuses but the fact is it was wrong.

I'm not a church goer or in any way a bible or religion shouter.

The act of sex with a faithful husband and faithful wife is not sinful, unless one of them is doing something that would cause harm to the other.
Sex in its proper role in marriage is the most beautiful experience known to mankind. I think I already stated that.
Then it is not sinful. But when it is self-centered and harmful to others, it is sinful and evil.
Used improperly, sex is sinful and evil. I didn't make the guidelines that we are to live by; God did. The way the Kennedys used sex and the way our society is generally exploiting sex is evil and sinful, and "the land" will vomit all of us out for this immorality.
