\"The National Socialist movement,\" Hitler himself has said, \"has given the state the directives for the education of our people. This education does not begin in one certain year and end in another. The education of the individual never comes to an end.\"
It can hardly come to an end, in fact, because it is totalitarian. That is, it extends to every conceivable phase and aspect of life. It extends to history, to geography, to philosophy, to art, music, the theater, and of course, the schools. It also extends to religion, science and mathematics. It extends to the homeliest, most intimate stuff of the everyday life of the people.
