we use both, mardi gras is a more religious name than carnival wich is popular and more about partying on the streets in crazy outfits.

in fact mardi gras is the last day of the carnival for us (same date 21/02) this day the people are the kings and queens, they can do anything and the party is not just one day we also eat crêpes, fritters and many good sweet stuff for carême wich is on february 2

I like to think of the macro/microcosm and how everything can have multiple levels of meanings. Maybe its the 144,000 genes activated at the smallest level? Our DNA is shifting sooooo rapidly right now, many are starting to feel it like I have over the last year or two. Yes their might be an army...but there are so many levels to this story. :) only time will tell!

The alchemical wedding...why? Whats the draw here, for a man or a woman. It sounds like men, who long to be women, and women who long to be men. Androgyny happens, but never something to emulate, or wish for, according to those who live with it.

Perhaps, I don't understand what you're goal is, and you refer to a "state of mind". The balance you speak of, shouldn't be hard to locate, since we all possess, both male and female traits; sounds similar to Ying/Yang, the journey is a lifetime long; I am a female: Ying - dark/masculine, according to principle, migrating towards, light/female.

Above all, if one wishes to understand the opposite sex, perhaps spend some time with them...and start with something simple, like learning each others language, and engage in meaningful conversation, with another person. On the surface, this theory seems very narcissitic, and well, self-centered. I don't think absorption, directly equates to transformation?

Thanks Seer. Still working my way through all the symbology. Man, for me its so much easier to relate the concept rather then learn all the symbols that define the concepts.
