Anonymous Coward User ID: 10436379 United Kingdom 02/09/2012 06:44 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Can anyone explain why it was 'flashing' last night (UK). Noticed it at around 6pm (GMT). It was twinkling rather violently, and was varying in brightness. Quoting: wanny1 Jupiter was a 'static glow', i.e. not flashing. Did anyone else notice it, and what is the reasoning? This was taking a few nights ago but youand i can see her flash so i took some footage of her. |

When looking thru a telescope on nights when the stars and planets seem to be twinkling, it is a disturbance in the view from the conditons above. Not very good for 'seeing'' Quoting: Anonymous Coward 10440157 [link to www.astro-tom.com] I wasn't using a scope, and everything around, or in close proximity (I say that loosely) to Venus, wasn't displaying the same characteristics. |
