O.k. So this thread is at the top of GLP, and why?

The main idea is that "Yes! The U.S. economy is booming again. Everybody is happy! Everybody is getting rich again! Oh, joyful day!"

Here are some hard facts. Read them and understand them.

U.S. corporations have been earning historically record profits since 2008. Why? They fired middle management.

Unemployment is down from 9.2% to 8.3% but Underemployment (people looking for jobs but not collecting benefits) is up from 16% to 18.7%

Only low wage jobs are booming. Truck drivers, freight workers, elderly care.

2/3rds of the entire U.S. workforce is just fine and seem content. They need to believe that everybody in the U.S. is fine but really they are just in denial that their neighbors are going a little hungry.

Just remember that people like Romney pay only about 14% in taxes while the rest of us pay 25% and our bosses pay up to 35% in taxes.

People like Romney are trying to say that they are like our small business bosses, but they are lying.

The stock market does not determine the economic health of the people.

The buying power of the people determines national economic health.

If you want to fix the economy, the government has to create construction jobs. The Republicans actually knew that but they wanted to avoid taxes as much as possible. Now they let the jobs be created. European governments finally gave up and started to spend taxes creating construction jobs too.

As many before me have prognosticated, when the DOW hits 13 or 13.5K, the bottom WILL fall out.
Maybe not the end-all, but expect a sell-off of 10 -20% in the first week.
