According to multiple people that anchor broke the golden rule of a stranger dog. You never ever get in dogs face if it doesn't know you. This to them is a threat. It would be like some stranger getting in your face and you have no clue why they are doing that. It's obvious to us that the anchor didn't mean any harm but you got to understand how animals work and this girl does this every week? You would think she would actually learn something. Sadly the dog may have to die because of her inability to think.

IMHO the news anchor was at fault, but the owner should have been more on the cautious side as well...animals no matter what breed are not trusting. A bond must develope between an animal and person in which comes from love and respect. If there is any fear what so ever from an individual an animal will sense it and react.

Yeah, dogs should wear a muzzle when forced to be on tv or in that type of situation with bright lights, noises, crap going on all around.

And newspeople should be trained on how to handle animal stories. sheesh.
