Since most here believe we are living in the very last of the last days, you might want to hedge your bets a little better there, OP. Belief in Jesus Christ is the only one that brings me any hope of something after I die and upon believing in Him, I pray to Him and draw close to Him. In so doing, I can tell you beyond any doubt that He is the REAL DEAL!

It is good to believe in yourself, OP. I'm not knocking that at all. But will that belief bring you any comfort should there be life after death and you find out you were wrong. Just think about it...who knows how much longer any of us have before all Truth is revealed!

My view on life after death is , everytime your life ends, your spirit[ soul] moves on to a different world in this solar system , you become reborn in a more advanced world than the 1 you left . Unfortunately , religious people are stuck on Earth , to live in hell for all eternity .

If a person desires comfort and hope and peace and confidence, then a person should believe in the thing(s) which give him comfort and hope and peace and confidence. Regardless of anothers view.

If a person has confidence in their belief(s), then where is the room for anger or strife or contention?

I cannot find any room for such things. Though I struggle with such things at times myself.

Believe "in"? By "believe in" do you mean, like, "existed or exist" or maybe "trust"? I take "in" to mean "existed or exist", which includes "real". Since "belief" has degrees, I answer as follows:

"Proof of Existence" is evidence intended to persuade another. I don't intend to persuade anyone that I believe in God, or that you should or ought to believe in God. I believe that belief beyond all doubt in God is only acquired naturally by one, without any intervening outside influence from another. If you don't believe in God, I don't care.
