It's human nature. So remember this in the future for yourself and If you have another elderly relative or a sister watch out for them more closely in the future too. Sorry about your situation. Have you done any investigating of this man such as criminal checks? You have to sit your mother down and explain to her your fears and the consequences of them being realized. Your mother has lived to be 82 years old and she may outlive you so she need to understand that her assets are worth protecting if she's to continue surviving comfortably. If your mother continue allowing this man to take advantage of her financially you might have to get power of attorney over her estate so as to prevent financial ruin. |

It's fraud if your mother has been declared incompetent and he was there preying on her financially. |
