And young people don't get a chance at almost every company (you have to have at least 2 years of experience, some even demand 5 or 10 years when it's not even necessary). So we are putting a whole generation in a shitty position for the start of their adult life. I'm so happy that I can personally experience all the goodness from this brilliant and glorious economic policy myself. And most of them have a good working mentality btw, they come asking for a job by themself and die a little every time I don't have anything for them. |

Gettinupthere User ID: 3152222 United States 02/12/2012 12:38 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Why don't they quit throwing rocks and use GUNS ? OR don't they have any guns ? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 10640604 You know here in the US if we so much as pick up a rock with the intent of throwing it at a police officer we are worthy of the death penalty (execution by cop or cops) That Rock is a Deadly weapon! You don't point a rock at someone unless you intend to use it! But then again! Just the other day a US veteran was shot for well, walking toward his truck where his kids were! and he didn't even have a Rock! Stupid soldier! Should have had a rock! |

The poorer countries help keep the Euro lower so Germany's export economy can compete- without the Euro Germany would fail Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1510656 The ordinary German, like the ordinary Greek, got fed a bill of horseshit about the Euro, and for most europeans cost of living went up dramatically right after the plan Euro was introduced I don't blame the Germans, they can't help where they're living, just as I can't blame the Italians or the Greeks for the insane policies of their leaders. They have had the choice of basically 2 ruling families who are nearly identical for decades now. The illusion of choice so the peasants can believe they are in a democracy, is a worldwide phenomenon Most Greeks did not even know about the debt their government had taken on, or the CDS, or the secret deals with GS, but now they're being expected to pay and pay for the fallout - for the rest of their lives. I blame the greedy, corrupt control freak bastards who are running the show. They are the only ones who have benefitted Unfortunately for Europe just as it seemed it was finally putting aside centuries of nationalism and mistrust, this kind of economic pressure is bringing up old hatreds, old national stereotypes to the surface. I'm sure the skin-heads and neo-nazi anti-immigrant hard right groups are having a field day with this mess 2012 is starting off as a helluva year |

Right wingers were the only ones who always warned against this outcome. All other ideologies always rode on the back of illusionary marxist-capitalistic equality. These marxist-capitalistic lies are now collapsing everywhere. Nationalism will rise in all european countries, not because of right wing propaganda, but because reality can no longer be ignored. People begin to understand they have been lied to. |

I can only think of one word...ungratefulness Well that's because most off the money goes to financial institutions. The savage austerity measures create a viscous circle (austerity --> economic collapse --> austerity). The only goals of this rescue is to make sure the financial system doesn't collapse. How can you help a country's economy by completely destroying it's internal market? They can't even lower the value off their currency (because they have the euro). And how would you feel if you are one off the 15000 state employees that get fired when unemployment is above 20%? Or when you have a very low minimum wage (and you're struggling to get by) and it gets lowered to 450 (for people without a family)? This is pure madness. How is this "helping the Greek people"? This is just aiding the financial system and making the Greek people pay for the shit off somebody else, all the while creating a nice opportunity for multinationals to get rich on the backs of ordinary people. |

Now people everywhere are beginning to think in nationalistic terms again. Its the only logical conclusion left after the internationlists have destroyed our countries. |

ZIPUX User ID: 4394297 United Kingdom 02/12/2012 01:01 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | When I advise a friend in trouble financially, they worry about money they owe to say bank. I always say, why are you worried? It's their money, they should be worried, not you. Greece could default, Greece could easily feed themselves, they have a very healthy climate, and grow a LOT of food there, they have access to their own oil and gas. yes they will experience a bumpy ride from bankruptcy back into being not in debt and be self sufficient. They can rebuild their own economy from scratch, print their own currency. If a person is in way too much debt, any good financial advisor will draw the line in the sand when it becomes impossible to repay your debts regardless of how much you borrow, and will advise strongly against it. Greece is in this position, and should not borrow a single Euro, and tell all the bankers to stick the money they owe them where the sun doesn't shine. It wasn't real money to start with, it's all 'Fiat' currency, made out of thin air. If Greece agrees to this bailout, they are fools, and I hope that the Greek people fight against it all the way, I obviously support Greece not to borrow money and to default, period. The bankers always whinge about such things and say it's all doom, it's their job. Personally they can work themselves out of this all by themselves, given some help and support, and a new government of course. |
