I know of someone who uses camomile often, in the bath and in drinks and has been doing this for many years, it has saved trips to doctors merely because (a) it is inconvenient as the transport system has collapsed and if you walk to the doctor five miles away you might be pulled into the bushes and get raped or your wallet removed, and (b) due to paying very high taxes to keep this Beast in power, it is no longer affordable to pay the prices the doctor needs and the prices of medicine he prescribes and you are forced to weigh up the odds as it is your OWN health, physical and mental, you are concerned about, and buckel down to using herbs, a longer recovery in comparison, but a recovery never-the-less and with no side affects if you know what you are doing. Coming out camomile soap suds after a busy day with iced tea makes you feel like a new person.

I have been saying for years that people need to learn what is already in nature, growing and there for the taking,and it could be done without "suspicion." For example, the humble little dandelion, grows on most lawns, most people try to kill it from their lawns, is very very powerful for many medicinal uses. No "growing" to raise attention, jsut already there.

Chamomile grows wild, as do many other culinary and medicinal plants and many of us know about their properties.

There's been a proliferation of witchdoctors over here so this makles sense. Can you imagine the public outrage were the government to not regulate those who dispense for health outcomes.

Civilised society contemplates regulations at many levels to ensure that some standard of safety is maintained. That is the shared agreement between comunities of humans who want common standards in a range of human affairs, standards that are determined as far as is reasonable, by verifiable methods.

So the title is misleading. It should more properly read...long overdue regulation of natural remedies put in place.

It all depends who is doing the 'regulating' and how it is funded.

New Zealand isn't that large. How hard would be to pick a day, any day, and display nationwide push back. Nationwide ridicule for these people would also be appropriate.

Well, vote them out the next time, on a platfom of non-regulation of natural remedy sellers. It is absurd to regulate the medical profession whilst letting these guys in through the backdoor. If they purport to sell remedies, then put them through the requisite checks. Or else we might as well dispense with regulating any medical treatment and you can take your chance.

Like I said, develop a platform around these ideas and place them before the elctorate.

If these same capitalists have corrupted the use of regulations to their own ends, it is nothing alongside what they would do without some form of oversight. I remember my father telling me years ago that NZ and Australia were the training grounds for the NWO and the coming cashless society.

I found it interesting when I travelled overseas in my 20's because our banking systems in NZ were so far advanced compared to the archaic English system.

It makes sense that they will try things out in a smaller country first. This is probably why this is being introduced in NZ.

Like everything you have to find a way to live your life like you want and usually this is best done by quietly doing things your own way without drawing any attention to yourself.

My partner and I have been learning how to grow our own veges and herbs. We have also been stockpiling seeds so we don't have to use the Monsanto crap.

If it comes to it learn how to grow stuff using hydroponics so even your next door neighbour doesn't know it is happening.

There is always a way around everything - a people's revolution is what is needed.
