Re: Explaining a US Bond Market Collapse
This idiot jabbers about the US Debt to GDP ratio. What an asshole he is. He is trying to get you to believe bullshit that is totally ludicrous.

We have no real debt when the Fed owns it. Remember they take our interest payments and return them to the Treasury. That means we are not really paying interest.

When you are not paying interest, that is the same as just having a ledger entry on the books. "Yes, we owe the Fed 8 Trillion Dollars." We will carry that notation forward and never pay it. It does not matter.

For all you debttards who think debt and ability to repay doesn't matter ... first, you will be told in order to buy anything imported, payment wll be taken in gold silver, or whatever you got that's worth something ... next you will see prices escalating monthly / weekly / daily as the mass realization occurs that the $US is worthless. The die is cast.

All I can say, if you are looking for people who hate America you've come to right place.

Not all the Americans are unaware of who and what you are.

If what you say is true(Which it's not) why do we pay Taxes?
If the .gov can just create endless money without consequences why is there a need to pay Taxes?
Answer that Moron!

To keep us enslaved, broke, too busy too care, you really are a paid troll aren't you/ Busted, now enjoy your cubicle you tard.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1609576

Then tell me, Tard, If we can avoid an economic collapse by printing with wild abandon. Why was the Soviet Union unable to avoid it? The Roman Empire, Germany, Argentina, Greece, and soon to be Italy, Spain, Portugal etc. etc.

There is no free lunch, when the .gov prints money it is basically steeling from all holders of that currency by devaluing it. Too much printing WILL DESTROY a currency.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 8990561

Actually...the banking system already collapsed....and TARP reinflated it.
What they are doing now is printing money in the USA and in Europe, and then distributing it to the global big banks to cover the default losses. This is the only thing keeping the banking system afloat.

I over simplified....but that is the core element of what they are doing in the USA and Europe.
When and IF that becomes unsustainable.....the system can essentially collapse

LOL, that is most adorable rendering of Benny I've ever seen...still laughing out loud.....WE ARE MONETARILY DOOMED...PEOPLE--if your have NOT gotten that message yet, I fear it is a message you may never receive and the nothing but self denial will ever ring in your ears as your head is stuck in the ground...
Definitely not made for this world--at least not this century.

...you are dangerous to everyone---not because you are ungifted, but because you embrace evil with your teachings. In so doing, in trying to be kind, to be unselfish, in trying to be nonjudgmental, you allow evil to become far more powerful than it otherwise would. You refuse to see evil, and so you welcome it among you. You allow it to exist. You give it power over you. You are a people who have welcomed death and refuse to denounce it. You are an empire naked to the shadow of evil. Terry Goodkind, NAKED EMPIRE

This guy is a total fucking idiot. He is trying to apply the situation in Greece to that of the United States. That is like trying to compare fire to ice. They are two different things.

How is he wrong? sounds like he hit the nail right on the head to me! If you are so smart, you explain what the difference is. I'm all ears, or eyes, I guess.

Actually, the bloke that said all interest is returned to Fed,is mistaken. The interest is written off the books, after the Fed takes operating capital out. Its still money spent, and gone. The Fed also sets its own operating price, and we've never audited them,so we're not sure how much they're scimming. It stinks.

You flackin' stupid Sheet!

If the dollar goes down in value do you know what happens?

Think about it dufus!

Come on, THINK!

There you go, you have finally got it. That is right, when the dollar goes down against the other currencies of the world that makes American Products (manufactured, Agricultural, Natural resources) cheaper on the world market and everybody buys American because we have good products at the lowest price. POOOOF! We have full employment because the US is outselling everybody.

Ooooops! That can not happen. China would not permit it. That is probably why the Dollar has only gone up over the past 100 years. The only currency in the world that has consistently gone up. It has bone up 8000 times against the Mexican Peso and up two fold against the British Pound and 600 times against the French Frank and so on and so forth.

Did you know the Fed has made over 8 Trillion Dollars on Open Market transactions? They do not take money out of the interest and then deposit the rest. They deposit all of it in the Treasury and even some of their open market profits. The rest of the open market profits stay in investments that are current.
