Did anyone of you ever really knew a freemason personally? I did...
A friend of mine, who passed away last year, was an actual freemason. He had been an active member of his lodge for over thirty years.

We often spoke long and late hours about lots of stuff and obviously, being somewhat of a GLPer, I asked him about the freemasons secrets and plans for world domination.

When I did, he would always laugh at the idea. And mind you, this was not an evil (muhahaah) laugh, but just a little giggle in amazement of such silly thoughts.

He wasn't some satanic, narcissistic, evil mastermind either. He was just some poor old schmuck, struggling through life. Trying to do the right thing, but often ending up doing the wrong things. Just like the rest of us...

I truly believe that if there was a big plan being kept secret by the freemasons, he would know about it, after thirty years of being a freemason himself. Also, being an intuitive person, I would just have known if he was keeping some sort of huge secret from me. Which he surely wasn't.

The only thing which is being kept a secret is their initiation ritual, for people who first join the lodge. But that's only because it is really private and personal and up front knowledge of this ritual would inluence the pureness of the initiators reaction to this specific ritual, thereby rendering it useless.

All they ever do during their meetings, was dressing up in their costumes, eating and drinking together, following their rules and rituals and after that tell each other lots of stories. Nothing secret about that.

It's almost like a roleplaying game (LARP) to them. They really like their rituals though. On his funeral, he was dressed up in his suit, lying in a black and white checkered coffin, with all sorts of symbols and images on it. But with normal mourning and sad family and friends surrounding him. No scary and evil rituals there either.

Anyway, I do believe this world is being mislead by a dark energy, using secret goverments, the church and perhaps even et's, but I don't think freemasonry has anything to do with it. I think "they" just gave us freemasonry, to keep our focus occupied, while the real rituals stay out of sight.

What are your thought on this?

There are fifteen degrees above 33 degrees. Those who are above the 33 are the ones who have the secrets and other untold influence on Washington and other sources of power.

I'm sure your friend was a good person and in no way am I speaking ill of him as a person... but Freemasons have up to 33 degrees and it is very well known you are appointed to higher degrees after the 3rd.

You never stated how your friend ranked in Freemasonry.

I bet he was the lower 3 levels as these people haven't the slightest clue what actually happens behind the scenes.

Again, I'm not besmirching your friend, all I'm saying was he probably giggled to the thought of Satanism because he was fooled by Satan.

OP is right... a lot of people are easily sucked intothe hive mind mentality because masons are kinda secretive. But I know a few personally and with the exception of one they are pretty religious and definitely not out worshipping satan, lodges actually do a lot of good work in charity. Don't believe everything you hear on the internet, people.

My grandfather is a Mason above 33 degree, he is also a very high rank in the Shriner's. He is not mysterious in any way. I have known this man all of my life, if anything, they are the most charitable organizations in the area I am.

My grandfather was a mason. After he died my dad gave me his ring. I've always wondered if the ring denotes the degree of the mason as I have no idea what level he had attained.
Anyway, he was an extremely straightforward man, not into non-sense of any kind. He was a navy man and an engineer. If he had even the slightest inkling that freemasonry was about anything satanic, magickal, astrological, etc. I'm sure he would not have continued his involvement. There was nothing ritualistic about his funeral, but there were many elderly masons with aprons attending the service. Personally, I think it would be much more interesting if that were the case, but I have a copy of the masonic bible and have not seen anything unusual in its pages.

Incorrect, the highest attainable degree is the third degree, Master Mason. Everything else is an off-chute of the blue lodge.

I'm sure your friend was a good person and in no way am I speaking ill of him as a person... but Freemasons have up to 33 degrees and it is very well known you are appointed to higher degrees after the 3rd.

There is the Scottish Rite and York Rite (Templar) after the Blue Lodge. Masonry is not Satanism, no one is fooled by satan.

Possibly, what enscriptions are on the ring? You should be honored to recieve your grandfather's ring.

It is not uncommon for a mason to have a masonic funeral, even within the lodge. I have personally participated in two myself.

It's unfortunate that most people can't read between the lines. Otherwise there might be a better understanding as to who we are and what we stand for.

Secrecy does prevent this to a degree, but for the most part you can find alot of the information online.

Most is disinformation and bullshit, you gotta wade through it all, or join the lodge!

Masons are the finest men in society. They serve their community and nation without fail. The fact that they have secrets and ritual draws fire from these insecure twits who always feel threatened by that sort of thing no matter what it's source.

I knew one, he owned a lot of stores and a huge fleamarket.
He was relatively a quiet man, to look at him he seemed to not fit into general public.
I was pretty good friends with a common run of the mill woman that had 2 young sons that he adopted.
Before long he got the kids into Mason school or whatever they call it.
By the time the kids were 18 they had really great jobs for their ages.
At 19, one became a manager to one of the largest 10 screen movie theaters in Bexar county, Tx.

They do take care of their own.

I kind of wanted to become an Eastern star for a while since my friend became one but seeing that women take a back seat to most everything important in the Mason's and the fact that my Xhusband was not a mason and had little interest in becoming one, it was impossible for me.
I got over it.

If you cared to actually study the only untampered with stories of history, you would come to know this as fact.

The bible, while correct in some aspects, is for the most part a heavily edited and censored peice of written history.

The Book of Enoch for example. Not included in the KJV, but has to be considered one of the most important books of all the bible.
