Mister Dog....Sleeping Beauty - Little Golden Books. I could read by age 4 and had most of the Golden Book collection. After mum quit reading the bedtime stories I read to myself instead at night.

I just loved the pictures so much.

By age 10(1972) it was anything Enid Blyton, all fairy tales, Pollyanna, Heidi, Alice In Wonderland, Girls Annuals.

My daughter (6) fav books at the moment are Charlie and Lola and Dont Let The Pigeon Stay Up Late...I quit reading her bedtime stories about 8 months ago...she now reads to herself until she falls asleep.
