Freemasonry(if thats the kind of'masonry' you are dribbling about) was started by the Ancient Order of the Illuminati as a type of sub-order, as with other orders & movements such as the Rosicruicians, to let some of the secrets of the secret religion of the Illuminati(Illumination) available to the public without compromising the safety of the order proper(the Catholic church had a tendancy to burn non-conformists at the stake, so secrecy was paramount to their safety & survival)

The United States of America was an ambitious project of the Freemasonic order(Thomas Jefferson was an Illuminatus), but, as with the USA, the Freemasons were infiltrated by the slime who run it now to this day, so the Illuminati cut its losses & abandoned the Freemasons, withdrawing any of the secret religions teachings & leaving it to its WASP devices.

my father was a Mason, and he was the most honest, hard working, self-sacrificing person I've ever known. he knew nothing about any conspiracy, because i used to bust his ass all the time; so he was not on any 'higher up' level.

there is lot of work getting to the 3rd degree; a lot of memorization. if someone is working a demanding job, and almost all jobs these days are demanding, i don't see how he can get all that work done in just 3 months.

I am a 32nd Degree Mason and I can tell you from experience that it is the most benevolent organization one could ever hope to commit to. I have found true acceptance, brotherhood and a shared belief that what one finds in the depths of his heart his best attributes.
