Nowadays, it is little more than a exclusive boys club, a very sinister on at that. |

Quoting: Brubaker How have you come about your "facts"? my father was a Mason, and he was the most honest, hard working, self-sacrificing person I've ever known. he knew nothing about any conspiracy, because i used to bust his ass all the time; so he was not on any 'higher up' level. there is lot of work getting to the 3rd degree; a lot of memorization. if someone is working a demanding job, and almost all jobs these days are demanding, i don't see how he can get all that work done in just 3 months. |

| I AM User ID: 13462403 03/29/2012 02:28 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Well, considering that the 3rd Degree is the highest attainable degree of all the degrees. I know, I know, they got up to 33. Any degree attained after the 3rd is JUST A NOVELTY. If you seek wisdom that has been accrued through many, MANY ages... Then you might find yourself a good fit for the lodge. Silly boy. That's like having a grade school child that just learned subtraction calling all higher maths "just a novelty". You have a lot to learn. You are misguided. The highest attainable degree is the third, everything else is an off-chute. If you are not a mason, (obviously you are not) then you would not know. My hats off to you brother for trying to enlighten those in question....but then there are those!!!!! |

Quoting: Archaic Mason So I will open up my heart and mind to you, ask a question, and ye shall receive. Ahhh, well now.I'll "pose" a question for you. Can a mason enter mecca? SURE! Islamic people can join the fraternity. We do not care what religion you come from. Hence one of the first things you are told when you go to the lodge: No religion, no politics allowed to spoken of within the lodge. We do not care what your faith it, as long as you believe in god. What about the agnostic approach? I am OPEN to the existence of god, but i cannot phanthom how to define it and I intuitively know most religions have a perversed and twisted definition of GOD to fit the ends of the elite... What say you? |

I have found true acceptance, brotherhood and a shared belief that what one finds in the depths of his heart his best attributes. Masonry is the largest, most diverse fraternity the world has ever known in history. In years past one could identify Masons in cemeteries by the obilisk that marked their graves. Now the Masonic symbol is carved on their headstone. Living Masons quietly work within their communities, their churches and their country for the betterment of others. Recently a catch phrase has appeared, 2B1ASK1. That truly says it all. Certainly there are dues for different groups within the fraternity but there are dues for the American Legion, the VFW, the Elks, the Eagles and many other fraternal orders. None of them are accused of being in league with Satan. Yet the Masons are constantly accused of such things. I can tell you that all Masonic meetings begin with prayer and the Pledge of Alleigance to the flag of the United States and is ended with prayer. One of the first questions a candidate for membership is asked by the screeners is if he believes in God. The goal of the fraternity is "Making Good Men Better." Helping members of the fraternity realize their true capabilities through study and discussion has led many men to a higher understanding of their place in God's plan for them. |
