The 3rd degree is like graduating from elementary esoteric school still wet behind the ears with a whole life of schooling still ahead of their elementary asses. Hence, you are either messing around with GLPers or you are misinformed. C'mon brother, you know this. The Blue Lodge 3rd Degree is the cap stone. The Scottish Rite, 32nd degree, and everything included below it, is not necessary. A 32nd degree has no more right or privilege than I, myself, a 3rd degree. I'm not saying there isn't knowledge to be attained in the higher degrees, but the 3rd is it. The highest title a man can bestow to man upon the face of this Earth.
