Donations are down this year. Barely making it. Could take in more animals with more money. Prepping for all them too. I figure their more worthy and deserve for me to really try and get them through the pole shift and thrive in the aftertime. Live out in the mountains in the boonies already.Actually about 50k would just about fix it.

queenbee User ID: 1562977 United States 06/25/2012 10:25 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation	Re: i want to give away one million dollars, but if i had a million dollars i would buy up a large farm with a house and barns and search for a farm family and live-in interns to run it. purchase the necessary tools, equipment. it would be a mixed organic farm with jersey cows for raw milk and meat and chickens for eggs and meat and pigs for lard and meat. there would also be heirloom grains and vegetables and fruits and berries grown, seeds saved. the co-op (CSA) method of running the farm might be nice, and i would expect the farm family to begin running it in-the-black almost immediately. in five years, i would then expect the farm family to start paying proceeds into a fund in lieu of mortgage or rent. when that fund gets to a million, the first farm should be given to the farm family outright with the stipulation that they must do all the things above to start a new farm with the million saved dollars.

There are many elderly that need to get out and socialize but cant drive and have no family left in town. Hell, someday I will be elderly too and could use one of those centers.
