So you are trusting in a higher power to help you . . . fruit can often be difficult to (find) measure and is sweet for only a brief time and often rots on the vine . . . or is picked too green and gives one a stomach ache . . .

I agree that one should always seek out Knowldge and experience.

Without going into too much detail about myself, I will say this. I have never been a very religious person but I have lived my life according to certain truths I think are important.

At one point when I got a little older I went through a very bad time. I had given an oath to God years before about a certain matter. at some point, in order to keep my word to the oath I took, it looked like I would be ruined by this oath. I had to make a decision. Break the oath to God or go down with the ship in ruin. I decided to go down with the ship, I just could not bring myself to break the oath for some reason even if it seemed like the most logical thing to do. When all looked lost it all ended. All my problems vanished.

I don't know how it happened. I have no explanation to this day. One day I was on the way out and the next day I was stronger than I have ever been. I hate to sound like a religious nut case (which I am far from being) but the only way I can describe it is it had to be some sort of "miracle".

I can only speculate as to what happened and I would probably be wrong. I think I was being tested or being tempted to break my word and when I decided I would go down with the ship, I was somehow protected by some power. I know it sounds crazy but believe me, I would not type this if it did not happen just as I state it.

It is why I think your word is important...very important. Nothing to trifle with.

If you do the right thing, regardless of the cost to yourself you will be ok and looked after because you are creating something with a positive intent. Also be true to yourself and live your life with your truth and turn negative situations into positive ones. Afterall a negative situation is there
to teach you something, so look for the reason and find the positive, look with positive eyes and you will get the best outcome. This has more power than people realise.
