Assad is in power over there for a reason. It's because he has majority support. Majority support trumps whats right and wrong when it comes to politics. They Syrians that disagree with Assad should flee, rather than fight. They are not majority, all empowering them will do is destabilize the country.

I don't want to be responsible for paying off debts that we accrued by destabilizing countries. My whole generation doesn't want that responsibility either.
