Re: Fireball reported in South Carolina
I was awake at 2:03am on 2/13/2012. The sound woke the whole family up. It sounded like a vacuum/jet engine and it was in the air. It moved from northeast to southwest. The sound lasted for 3 minutes. The decibel levels were extremely loud. My location is in Louisville, Kentucky on the east end. I also felt the windows on the house at my location, you could feel the resonance from the sound on the glass, but the ground never shook.

Thank you very much Sir. I caught some interesting video of lights outside my house around 12:00am last night. At 1:47am I had my headphones on and didn't see or hear a thing. I honestly didn't feel anything although many felt it in my area a close to 2:00am.

Peace to you friend.

Exciting times ahead.

Very strange coincidence......last night around that time I thought I heard a boom, but it was rather far off so when I didn't hear it again I just bedded down and went to sleep. I'm in upstate SC York co. Very interesting indeed! In my opinion it looks to be meteor related.

Yes they sure are, we can add this event to all the other events that having been going on here. I posted on another thread earlier about the rumbling and booms that I, myself and others heard in September 2011.

I live in the upstate and I have been hearing low frequency vibrations in the air from time to time. I made a couple of videos back in July but one video I had up on you tube showing my dog's reaction is gone now. I don't remember deleting it but it was just my dogs and how they reacted to the humming from the sky. One video is later that same day but at night. The vibration is noticeable on it but nothing but darkness from the night sky. In September I bought a much better video camera so I could start making videos of what I see that seems different. I video quite a few different colored blinking "stars" on occasion. They are only out some nights. Some clear nights they are not seen. It makes me wonder what that is and how it changes so many colors in a blink of an eye.

Around 1:00am on 2/13/12 I saw a few blinking lights outside my house but way up in the sky. I had to zoom in and even turn on the night vision option to film them. One main object that would blink a bright white just like the appearance of the Sun but not near as big and then go fade away and a few other bright smaller objects popping in and out. Times are getting exciting. Do you ever video the sights you see? It would be nice to see what other members put together. I don't know what any of this is but it is new and different.

Peace to all

Oh thank you for posting. I am in York county also, and heard this thing even with a CPAP on. It kind of shook a part of my house. I thought it was my furnace since it was cold and not coming up. I checked that out and moved thermostat and it came on. We had had a boat explose last summer, but no one would have been out this cold night. I told someone it sort of sounded like thunder.

Now, folks, I live near Charlotte not in that county, but now don't believe I am crazy. I heard it because I had not been able to sleep at all and finally dozed off after 6 a m.

I just wished I had jumped up asa it happened Shoot.

I started hearing the long rumbling sound in July, this went on for 3 months. I guess I was picking up on it long before anyone else, or other people didn't want to admit they were hearing things too. lol.

Then in September, I was watching the news and saw a segment on people asking where the booms and rumblings were coming from.

I wonder what happened to your video? Do you have any more video's on youtube? I would like to see/hear them if you do.

I was awake at 1:00 am on 2/13/12 also, but didn't see or hear anything. For some reason I couldn't go to sleep that night, I wasn't sleepy or tired at all. I usually don't stay up that late.

No, I haven't videoed anything, but I might start now.

Stay safe & peace to you also.

I saw a BRIGHT star in January also. It was almost over the top of my garage in the back yard. It was big, bright and beautiful. I hope I see it again so I can take a picture or a video of it.

I had a cheap camera back when I filmed the dogs reaction to the rumble and also the video below. This was the same day as the one that is now missing. I must have deleted it when I was cleaning things up. I am sure it will happen again soon by the way things are going. I was debating on buying a new camera just for these events when I just happened to leave my old camera in the rain. This gave me the reason to buy a much better camera. I don't know anything about creating videos or space objects but it is now a passion of mine to look for things a bit out of the ordinary. I might record a sunny day in nature because I love to take pics of the Sun and Moon. The videos of the Sun shows white objects flying that I feel is something other than bugs. They also come out of thin air. Just go down my list of videos and you may see places you have been to in SC.

btw, I love your name

Here is one of the videos with the rumbling sounds from my old camera. The vibration is noticeable.

Yes, I can hear the rumbling in your video. The rumbling I heard was longer rumbles and I could feel the earth vibrating also.

I went down the list of places in your videos. I have been all over/lived in many places in South Carolina, as well as North Carolina.

I take a lot of nature photo's. I used to sketch/draw pictures of nature, now I use a camera instead. I love it! That is my hobby.

And thank you.(about my name).
