My dad looks like Italian with black hair and brown eyes. My mom had brown hair with brown eyes but her parents had blue eyes. I ended up with dirty blond hair with blue eyes.I don't look anything like my parents.

I'll have to ask my mom for her family tree book. I think it goes back about 500 years (at least on her side).
