i got what could be considered a head cold the other day. it came out of nowhere, and was gone the next day. sneezing, stuffyness, runnyness, small nosebleed.

Everyone at work is sick. I take 1000 IU of D3 once a day and haven't been sick once this winter. I used to get sick at least once a year around the holidays. Always would start as a sore throat, then progress to a cough. Took at least 2 weeks to get over it.

Technically I do catch a bug once or twice a year, but it is gone in 24 hours. No major symptoms, just a slight fever or headache. The immune system takes care of it and it's over the next day.

Start taking some D3 every day. Your cold will be gone in no time.

d3 daily dosages should be between 6,000 and 10,000 IU. you can have your doctor check your serum levels, take 10k until serum levels are good then 6k is usually sufficient to maintain it.

vitamin c dosage should be up to 5,000 mg a day, but smaller dosages spread out. vitamin c is used up fairly quickly, whereas the vitamin d3 will stick around.

I have to spend time overseas some 3,4 times a year... and ALWAYS my urine color and smell change after a few days. the symptoms disappear and i feel kinda normal for the time there. Then i come back to continental USA and its the same..

This is a second week I am sick and it's getting progressively worst every day lost my voice the whole throat hurts, swollen glands, bronchitis. I think I'm on the verge of pneumonia. Very very bad cold also ear is infected and sinuses as well. Can't remember last time I was so sick.

Sorry to hear that. Take some D3 now. Vitamin C is best obtained from food IMO, but D3 can only be gotten from sunshine or D3 supplements.

I'm in Alaska, people I know have been sick and I've been sick all winter and can't seem to shake it. I always wake up nauseated, have little appitite, been dizzy and just not feeling right, also can't remember things.

Me too..I had several days of harsh coughing spells. It's week three for me and still feeling ill but better than before. I'll try D. C has not helped. Good luck AC
