The items listed as "nozzles" in that propaganda video are called "flap track fairings".

The mist which is coming from around the wings and fuselage are called an "aerodynamic contrail".

There were...just not as many...because aviation wasn't anywhere near as big...and there weren't anywhere near as many high efficiency engines...which create more water vapor during combustion, and are able to push saturation levels past the supersaturation point in any given area of the atmosphere much more easily.
