I think if they do this, it will serve multiple purposes for TPTB..I think it is wrong to force anything like that on the public. I believe they should be offered incentives to willingly be sterilized..never forced..A good post OP..:)

This hits home to me, literally. I am not living in Detroit, but I live in the outskirts of Detroit. Although I think this may be a spectacular idea, I find that if this did happen, all of the "low-income" people of Detroit would sue the F*ck out of the city for doing this as it is violating their rights.

From my own observations, many poor (not all) have babies so they can sit on their ass and collect welfare. They keep popping them out because they get rewarded for it. Stop the welfare to degenerates and the problem will for the most part be solved. Then offer free vastecomies. With no welfare to fund their baby manufacturing, they'll be glad to be sterilized.

I think that A LOT of people in Detroit are using their children as a meal ticket. It is not fair for everyone else that honestly pay their taxes! The city is crumpled and dead due to it's debt. Something needs to happen...
