Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 10804087 Canada 02/16/2012 08:58 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | But I also realized how completely blown away I am when I see middle aged woman/men trying to loose weight. They feel that since they ate cookies, (or rice, or a baked potato) and didn't drink pop, they were being responsible!! Bullshit!!!! The reality was they might as well stuffed themselves with ice cream, coke and cake, as their diets were all super-high glycemic anyways, and their bodies are addicted to it. They spike themselves with sugar until their bodies burn out and can no longer produce insulin. Rockefeller backed big pharma is right there to help of course with some type one diabetes treatments... And they try to loose weight by taking weight loss bars that actually have as much sugar in them as a can of coke!! It became hyperclear to me it was the biggest bullshit conspiracy in the last 50 years. It was shortening people's lives dramatically. It was triggering all kinds of ailments and autoimmune disorders - it was a society binging itself into pharmas big hands by diets HIGH in either sugar, or foods that converted to sugar very quickly. |

Personally my own thing I seen happening is I was literally going hunger stuffing myself. Sometimes I would eat close to a dozen eggs with cream cheese, and I was still hungry!! My body was CRAVING something with a higher glycemic index. And I would relent and eat something I knew was high on the chart and feel full. It was mind boggling, and my % body fat was dropping. The diet industry would shit themselves if everyone found this out, cut out the bullshit and got fit. Its a billion dollar a year industry, and they work hard to make sure you are on the weight loss treadmill while still having you hooked to the sugar so you can never get off of it. So you go from diet to diet to diet. The reality is it doesn't matter what you eat. Only follow three simple rules. 1. Eat Low Glycemic Index Foods. 2. Eat Unprocessed Foods. 3. Work out (nothing heavy, just consistently). |

However since starting my low glycemic index diet, combined with regular exercise, I am not very close to a six pack, and I work out no more than I did prior. But now I'm getting results. Real Results, and I am going to share this secret with you, enjoy. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 10804087 Its not bullshit, it really works. Basically all breads, pastas, when ingested convert themselves into sugar very quickly, they have a high glycemic index. A high glycemic index basically means converted to sugar easily. A pump of sugar in the body will cause it to store the excess as fat! Secondly anyone who has kept a low glycemic index diet has lived a VERY long life. A baked potato is healthy? Not!! It has a higher glycemic index diet than straight sugar!! (111)!!! [link to www.glycemicindex.com] Here are some other values. Corn Flakes (93) Pancakes (102) White Rice (94) Rice Cakes (91) - Think your loosing weight on these?, might as well eat tablespoons of sugar. Rice, Pasta, Brown (92) Protein workout bars you buy at Wal-mart (25 grams of sugar, same as a can of coke!!) WTF!! Workout mixes you buy for getting built - read the amount of sugar that is in them!! I'm telling you people its the biggest fucking conspiracy you will EVER run across the supermarket shelves are completely saturated in sugar. If you can filter out the high glycemic index foods, work out, you will get cut. The other thing that happened is I do not get sore from the workouts, I get sore from the sugar!! Thanks OP! Great information. The only diet I've ever gotten thin on is the Atkins-type diet. I don't do the high fat part because its unhealthy, but the rest of it is great. I'll look into the low glycemic one as well, because it actually makes sense. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 10898025 There is a revised version from '86 on Amazon. Caused a huge stir in the 70s. It caused a huge stir because WonderBread, and a host of other mega-lith corporations would have been fucked. They will spend MILLIONS teaching people other bullshit that doesn't work to make sure they can never loose the weight, and have the nice bodies they deserve. I noticed also I run circles around people who eat high glycemic, even when their working out their bodies are just wrecked after and sore. I'm not getting that, not nearly as much. I've tried everything, I mean everything. The reason the low-carb diet worked, was indirect, low-carbs meant cutting high glycemic foods, so it worked. Raw Food diet, its a low glycemic index diet - so it works! I look forward to a very long, very healthy life. And FUCK YOU BIG PHARMA, AND BIG FOOD. STICK YOUR WAL-MART TOOTING SHIT FOOT UP YOUR ASS!! |

I'll look into the low glycemic one as well, because it actually makes sense. I don't believe high fat is unhealthy. Kevin Treadu had the scoop on it and I concur. Inuit natives ate seals, and walruses - had cholesterol levels above 500 and no heart disase. Yet young soldiers were given chlorine tablets to purify their water when they went over to vietnam. They came back with completely clogged arteries. The chlorine was scaring the arterial walls, the cholesterol was healing over the scar point and building up. People drank huge amounts of chlorinated water (treated water) for the last several decades. And they absorbed it through their skin in the shower. Now we have an epidemic of heart disease, but if you ask the heart and stroke foundation they have *NO IDEA* what is causing it, and they need to search for a cure (so you wanna give them some money?) Oh yah and can you buy a hot dog and run for the cure? Its fucking bullshit!!!!!! The entire North American society is built on total utter fucking lies! The reality was unprocessed fats (olive oils, coconut oil, flax oils cold pressed ) are all VERY GOOD. Peanut Oil. That is great too. Hexen laced canola oil is NOT. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 8709245 Thats absurd in my book, I eat so many fruits and vegetables its crazy. It was filling, low calorie, and my weight dropped. I would suggest thats where 90% of diet plans fail, they address glycemic index in some form (via calorie restriction, diet modification etc) but then they simultaneously starve the participant for nutrients. |

But I found no matter how 'waxed and seized' my body felt as long as I started working out, after about 15 minutes my body would begin feeling great. Now it feels very normal to be at the gym lots. And I do work out pretty intensly, while the sweats falling off me everywhere, I watch guys sitting on their workout benches... But I found with a low glycemic index diet, I can just CRUISE with energy... I need less sleep, I look great, and feel great. |

Also add in Food Separation for better digestion. Food separation dieting causes less fat to be stored. Thanks. (I'm male, mid-40's, and live and work in India as a designer. Anonymous Coward User ID: 794598 United States 02/16/2012 10:20 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | You're absolutely 100% right OP! Several years ago I needed to shed my extra winter holiday pounds. I quit eating ALL starches and only ate meat, fish, vegetables, salads with wine vinegar and a half a tbsp of grapeseed oil, fruit and nonfat vanilla/plain greek yogurt blended in protein powder with water, and oatmeal twice a day that I added protein powder to with cinnamon. Hardly any of the food is packaged. Also, I walked 40-60 minutes a day on the treadmill and consumed 80 oz. of water daily. Within 2-3 weeks those extra pounds fell right off and I was slimmer than ever before. I've never been a cake, cookie, candy or pop drinker, nor do I eat fast food, bagged snacks or at chain restaurants. Honestly, my weight problem would occur only when I ate food high in starch...I love potato's and pasta any way they're prepared, it's weakness and a magnesium deficiency I believe that causes the starch craving. It's also important to note that during my weight loss phase for those few weeks to a month, I made sure to burn more calories than I consumed and I never eat after 6 o'clock. I did add a great fat burner to assist, which I spent a good deal of time researching before I bought it. It's made by Fight Labs and its called Adrenaline XR. The stuff is terrific and works! Now as maintenance to keep my healthy shape I continue the regimen with an occasional splurge on the pasta I love, good vitamins and wear ankle weights under my slacks as well as around the house all day. The weight has never returned. Eating healthy and maintaining a proper weight on the diet I stick with makes me feel good, look great (including my skin to keep the youth ;) and has actually saved a lot on my grocery bill...the chain grocery stores with boxed food full of msg's, aspartame, sodium and tons of sugar laced crap with who knows what all that other b.s. is we can't pronounce can go broke for all I care. I only shop at my locally owned fruit market and Costco. I hope my personal story helps, and I'm glad to see you had great success and shared your experience as well to help others with our little known secret |

It is these testimonials that will encourage others to take it up as well.. What I do find very intersting is the response to this forum was initially very muted. I have found in all my years any time you tell the truth to the crowds - they don't want to hear it!! They always go pretty much silent in the face of the truth. If you tell something that is sensational, bullshit, or garbage their all over it, looking for a circus to be part of I guess... :) Isn't that what GLP is all about? So I know it works, and I know its the truth because it seems to be partially ignored or rejected. |
