Oil in dollars is the key to it all, take that away and the US is a thrid world country now.

Printing money would be gone overnight and demand for dollars would dry up.

The US has more oil than we can handle.

Well, I don't know if it's related.

The March 20, 2008 US Declaration of War on Iran

[link to whatreallyhappened.wikia.com]

As of Thursday, March 20 the US is at war with Iran.

So who made it official?

A unit within the US Treasury Department, the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN), which issued a March 20 advisory to the world's financial institutions under the title: “Guidance to Financial Institutions on the Continuing Money Laundering Threat Involving Illicit Iranian Activity.”

So what does all this bureaucratic financial rigmarole mean?

What it really means is that the US, again through FinCEN, has declared two acts of war: one against Iran’s banks and one against any financial institution anywhere in the world that tries to do business with an Iranian bank.

to me all this looks "orchestrated".

The most likely reason may be, that once we go into CASHLESS MONEY, there is no need for national currencies anymore.
calling the digital money simply "CREDITS" would be enough.
WORLDWIDE!
to reach that goal the current system somehow has to be delegitimized and destroyed!

Every Country that was moving away, or planning to move away from the dollar has been invaded and stopped.

America absolutely cannot let this happen and will try to stop it just as it did with Iraq and Libya. It used to be just about the oil, now it's also about saving the dollar from collapse. Iran is an American double whammy waiting to happen.

March 20th is the Eve of Ostara. It's when we started bombing Libya and also when the bombing 'shock and awe" took place on March 20th, 2003. Look it up to learn more. Holiday of Beltane is another important one.

".... wait for March 20, when the Iranian oil bourse will start trading oil in other currencies apart from the US dollar, heralding the arrival of a new oil marker to be denominated in euro, yen, yuan, rupee or a basket of currencies.

That would suit Asian clients - from BRICS members India and China to US allies Japan and South Korea, not to mention NATO member Turkey. But that would also suit European clients, to pay for oil in their own currency.

Tehran - as well as many key players in the developing world - does want to sink the petrodollar."

Thats it folks. 33 days to go to prevent it from opening .....

becuz, it's my wife's birthday. The Iraq war began on her birthday - March 20, 2003. it's because she's such a spiritual person, the demons that be (TDTB) seem to relish creating havoc on that day; polarizing date you might say...

Re: BREAKING: New Oil Bourse on March 20th 2012 --> Bye Bye Petrodollar
YOU ARE ALL SO IRRITATING

Petro Currencies are nothing more then a currency used as a Unit of Account to price oil on the International market.

1. Since 1971/1973 OPEC nations have been in an agreement to use the US Dollar as their Petro Currency for pricing.
This was a fair agreement as a large number of wells were drilled and maintained by US Oil Companies.

2. Iran uses the US Dollar to price its oil, but since 2003 it has required the Euro for shipments to Europe and Asia. That is 9 years they have already been collecting another currency for their oil.

3. Any Oil Exporting nation can and often has used it's currency as Petro-Currency. The Canadian Dollar is used for Canadian Oil Exports, and the Pound Sterling has been used for North Sea Oil Exports.

Is it a concern that one country is choosing to drop the US dollar as their unit of account? It may be. But it is one individual country, not all of OPEC.

The concept of War to protect the sanctity of the US Petro-Dollar is a red herring in itself. Otherwise, the US would have gone to war with Russia, Canada, England, Denmark, and every other country that exports oil. OPEC consist of 12 nations, not the world.

of course!! TDTB (Demons That Be) are sick of we 'useless eaters' since everyone's poor and a liability to the economy now; so perfect timing to cause gasoline to skyrocket. We're also becoming more disgruntled, like OWS etc., so take away our ability to travel and presto: no protests (or very limited....at the same time, create a false flag, like a dirty bomb or something else sinister, and start Martial Law, round all the 'malcontents and terrorists' up in NDAA FEMA camps and you got the sheep totaally coralled and under control.

Re: BREAKING: New Oil Bourse on March 20th 2012 --> Bye Bye Petrodollar
This is not the first time Iran has threatened this action, but it might be the first time that they actually DO it.

If so, this is HUGE.

Consider, when Saddam Hussein declared Iraq would no longer accept dollars for oil, it was not long before they bombed the crap out of him and replaced him with somebody who did not dare such heresy.

The most recent nation to stop selling oil in US dollars was Libya - who was going to demand payment in gold-back 'dinars' (a new single African currency made from gold).
This move alone was HUGE enough for French President Sarkozy to declare Libya as a threat to the financial security of the world. So, suddenly they bombed the crap out of Libya - and end of problem.

If Iran proceeds to sell its oil in other currencies, then the USA will either collapse or go to full-scale war. There are not many other choices.
 Quoting: nexuseditor

I remember this clearly from the build-up to Iraq, build-up to Libya and I believe this single issue is enough to get a nation bombed to bits

This whole "attack Iran" subject has been brought up every year since 2005, and it has always turned out to be mere sabre rattling and posturing

This year, however, it feels serious, as if they'll actually act

My suspicion is it's because so many nations are running out of economic road to kick the can down

War is the ultimate solution for those looking to change the rules of the game without having to get votes or approval

I hope I'm wrong
