As a little girl, I asked how could there be a Father and a Son without a Mother. I mean, really. Since we weren't Catholic, the answer was that the Holy Spirit was kind of both so that covered it.

Then I wondered how it went on so long without a Son...at least 2,000 years...and then I noticed that the Holy Spirit didn't come until the Apostles after The Son was already born, died and then came back in the sky.

Christianity is confusing.
