If you take a look at the posters, those for and against these fascistic checkpoints, you will see a majority are against and many are becoming violently opposed.

I do however realize that the courts have upheld them to be 'lawful' (since 1990) as long as they are checking for inebriated drivers, and not 'checking papers', etc... Where I live, the cops have to publish the checkpoint location 48 hours in advance... So don't drive through one... 'Problem' solved...
