In 1995 i seen a Star disappear.. i need answers.
In 1995 Delray beach, FL I seen a star disappear. I was with my older brother and uncle walking down the walk area near the beach. I have no idea why I started to stare almost a dead stare at this fucking star. it wasn't the brightest star in the sky but it was brighter than most. The night sky was empty of any clouds so i know a cloud didn't block my view. It wasn't a freaking plane because the star was not moving it staid in that one spot for about twenty seconds before it vanished. I went to school that following Monday and my science teacher made a joke of it.. My teacher suggested that it could of been a plane, comet, meteor, or i was making it up.. but i know what i seen it wasn't moving at all. It just disappeared.

lol You're not the brightest star in the sky.
Sorry, I couldn't resist.
I understand what you're saying. Perhaps a small cloud obscured it for a few moments or it could have been a UFO. Or, maybe it was the ISS catching light reflected back from earth and for whatever reason the light stopped reflecting because of angle or light source. I think that the ISS can appear to stay in one spot if they're are in our orbit, like the moon appears to be stationary when in fact it slowly moving across the sky while in our orbit. It might have been another satellite stuck in our orbit or anything else that can reflect light. I just don't think it was a star. I am by far not a science nerd or an astrology nerd. I hope that you get an answer though. Good luck.

One can even see Satellites in orbit with the naked Eye. I used to do it all the time. One needs very good eyes.

Could have been a comet exploding, or even a Star burning out.

I lived way out in the sticks for years, at night there were no lights for over ten miles, one would be amazed at the things one can see without any earthbound lights around.

Could have been a Star that was burning bright, and flared out, it may have still been there just too faint to be seen.

Likely it happened Millions of years before we were even Born. Just the light did not reach us until then. Chew on that for awhile.

Re: In 1995 i seen a Star disappear.. i need answers.
I had seen this happen several times in the mid-90's, in NY, Vermont and once driving in Maine towards NH, what was common each time was:

No clouds,clear sky
time of year was between late spring to early fall
it always happened around sunset

the last is odd, because when the sun starts to go down and the first stars appear, those are usually the planets of our solar system that appear first

the stars I saw were in the sky a good 5-10 mins before blinking out, the one that I saw while driving (it was in the direction that I was driving and it was the only one out was there and constant for about 5 mins, then blinked out, only to reappear secs. later, stayed for about 20 more secs., then went out, then on for 2 secs, then out completely

this one and another I had saw in upstate NY a couple of yrs earlier both had an orange hue
it was because of the that earlier orangish one that went out that I kept an eye one that other one while driving, as I had a feeling it would blink out

that was the last time I saw that type of phenomena

You can see satellites for up to 2 hours after sunset and the same before sunrise, after that they cannot reflect the light and they have no lights of their own-so one suddenly disappearing like that makes sense if it was within that timeline.
