Don't want to scare you, but feel like I need to let you know about this, just in case. This began happening with our dog on occasions & we couldn't figure it out. The vet told us to give him Prilosec when it started acting up. This went on for at least 2 months & the frequency of it occurring increased. He had a history of Pancreatitis & we (including the vet) thought it was acting up, but couldn't figure out why. On Jan 23, 2012, he began vomiting during the middle of the night & became very ill. He spent most of the week in the vet hospital after we rushed him in & discovered he was in kidney failure. They had him on IV fluids to flush out the kidneys, but to no avail. The damage was done. We brought him home & he died in our arms on January 29th. We later discovered it was all due to feeding him what became his favorite treat the last few months of his life, Canyon Creek Ranch duck tenders (like jerky strips). He would get one each evening with his dinner. Canyon Creek Ranch, Waggin' Train & Milo's Kitchen jerky treats are all made in China & killing dogs right & left. We had no idea. It has been horrible discovering we were unsuspectingly feeding our baby something that destroyed his kidneys & caused his death. Have no idea what the reason is for your baby's problems, but thought I'd warn you about made in China treats, just in case. So many pet owners have no idea this is going on, just like we didn't. Do a search online about made in China jerky treats & you will be shocked. Those I mentioned are the TOP selling brands!

I appreciate you concern and words. I onl feed my dogs Purina dog food and do not give them any dog food treats. I give treats, but not dog food treats. I will give them some of the steak or chicken or cheese (food of that nature) that I am eating. I have never trusted dog treats. I hardly trust in dog food. About 4 yrs ago, I seriously thought about going all out and feding my dogs actual chicken and rice. I had it figured all out. I would buy a ton of chicken and rice for the month and cook up a few days to a weeks worth of food for them. I would freeze what was left and unfreeze and warm up what they needed for the day. Needless to say, I lost my job......then my car and truck....then my wife......then my house, LOL! So, the plan never came about.
