We use paper ballots in our small town. It's a good feeling to know our votes count. We must move back to 100% paper ballots with transparent chain of custody. Demand it in your town!

It doesn't matter if you use paper ballots if they are fed into an Optiscan.

Diebold voting machines can be hacked by remote control – for $10

It could be one of the most disturbing e-voting machine hacks to date.

Voting machines used by as many as a quarter of American voters heading to the polls in 2012 can be hacked with just $10.50 in parts and an 8th grade science education, according to computer science and security experts at the Vulnerability Assessment Team at Argonne National Laboratory in Illinois. The experts say the newly developed hack could change voting results while leaving absolutely no trace of the manipulation behind.

“We believe these man-in-the-middle attacks are potentially possible on a wide variety of electronic voting machines,” said Roger Johnston, leader of the assessment team “We think we can do similar things on pretty much every electronic voting machine.” [link to joemiller.us]

The memory cards are kept by each county election board. They are then programmed by the vendor employed by the election board. Next is a public test where different ballot styles are fed into the machines and checked for accuracy of counting. Anybody from the public can come to these public test sites and fill out a ballot. The last step of the public test is for the memory card to be locked into the scan unit. Nobody should have access to these machines prior to the inspector picking them up on the day before the election. Could a vendor switch out a memory card. YES! Could the vendor program these cards to work one way during a public test and then differently during an election. MOST LIKELY. If it happened in my county it would have to be done by the vendor.

Cool...I will pop in time allowing...It is my sincere wish that this goes mainstream and thus make it perhaps more difficult to get away with this fraud...This in turn should reflect the exit polls to be more inline with actual results...

If this happens then I believe Ron Paul will do very well or in the very least whom ever gets the nomination is the choice of "WE THE PEOPLE"...only time will tell...

The Maine fraud is aiding in bringing more awareness to this and if they screw with the results today then I believe they will be in for a rough ride...Consiouness have a way of rising above the lies and will be waking more and more to the frauds...as was the case with the lady in the vid...

I say no more electronics. CAMP OUT at the vote! Meaning, get paper ballots, get an overhead projector to show the ballots full screen, as well as a camera on the ballots themselves. Then get to it. Let ANYONE who wants to view the ballots and count along with them be invited. If it takes days or weeks, that's just too damn bad! The "gotta have the results in 5 seconds" news media will just have to suck it up and wait.

Let people follow the ballots where ever they go, don't let anyone able to get a hold of any ballots to re-enter them in a different county some where else. Once they are recorded, they should be burned in front of everyone. I'm serious, this has to be stopped!
