can someone please hazard a guess as to what they are

mate, all i'm seeing are pixels going darker then lighter. honestly. the resolution of these cams is crap, especially at night, and watching them at night can drive you doolally

Mate, I watch these cams all the time, and I am very familiar with pixelation problems, These lights are not pixelation. Please look again, enlarge the screen, that might help you form an opinion rather than bleating out a ridiculous excuse instead of having to engage your brain.

The RSN in Costa Rica released a report about changes at some of the most active volcanoes in the country after the M7.6 earthquake that struck the country last month. Although the direct connection between large earthquakes and eruptions is not settled, the RSN has noted that some Costa Rican volcanoes have experience heightened activity after large earthquakes (> M6.5), so they felt it was important to check to see what changes the active volcanoes of Costa Rica may have experienced since the earthquake. Overall, it looks like Turrialba, Poas and Rincon de la Vieja saw an increase in fumarolic activity (degassing) and Poas may have even had a small phreatic eruption in the days after the earthquake. Arenal and Irazu seem to not had any changes since the earthquake – however, one should take this cautiously as only a month has passed since the earthquake occurred...

activity at Mount Etna is unstable and unpredictable, with quiet periods followed by intense activity within Bocca Nuova for the moment (with ejections out of the crater), but it could also start suddenly elsewhere. This is why I will not sign the petition that was launched a few days ago on the Internet. It asks the Prefecture of Catania to cancel the interdiction of access to the summit area. I would not like to feel responsible for an accident if a sudden explosion killed several visitors as it already happened in the past.

Based on seismic data and visual observations, CVGHM raised the Alert Level for Paluweh (also known as Rokatenda) from 1 to 2 (on a scale of 1-4) on 8 October.

Based on a pilot observation, the Tokyo VAAC reported that on 3 October an ash plume from Suwanose-jima drifted SW at altitude of 3 km (10,000 ft) a.s.l.

...TENGGER CALDERA Eastern Java (Indonesia) 7.942°S, 112.95°E; summit elev. 2329 m
CVGHM reported that during 1 September-3 October diffuse white plumes from Tengger Caldera's Bromo cone rose 50 m above the crater. Seismicity increased on 1 October, and during 1-3 October a sulfur odor was occasionally noted at the Bromo Observation Post. On 3 October the Alert Level was raised to 2 (on a scale of 1-4)...

An expansion of winter Antarctic ice could be due to cooling, winds, or snowfall, whereas Arctic summer sea ice decline is more closely linked to decadal climate warming.”

Every cam im looking at shows volcanos starting to come to life ,this could be the start of a mini ice age with the sun blocked out for many years ,all thats missing at the moment is a super volcano and if one of those goes
