Cleveland [ link to hisz.rsoe.hu] Monitors have detected what is described as a small explosion at the Cleveland Volcano in Alaska. The volcano is located in Alaska's remote Aleutian Islands, southwest of Anchorage. According to the Alaska Volcano Observatory, the eruption happened just after 7 p.m. Wednesday.
