look at the period the God charts were down. the entire UK was vibrating.

Great find, AC ! hf
As to the Faeroes, after all they are tops of underwater ridge which was formed as a result of eruptions in the Cenozoic Era therefore wouldn't be surprised to the beginning there any event as El-Hierro type (by Surtsey too there not too far). And about Haverah Park and Jersey: whether there are there nearby ancient volcanoes, or than you explain such charts?

they're harmonic tremors, from Iceland i believe, and they've been happening for a few years now.

for instance, this is Galloway, Scotland on Feb 10 2008..

for them to be being picked up in the Uk is very worrying. to me anyway. I think Katla is bigger than they're letting on. i think we might see a big vei 6 eruption from katla. It's these tremors that have me concerned. i think there is more magma down there than the 10 km3 it's magma chamber is supposed to be

Yes very, if they are harmonic, maybe we should check on our volcanoes. Hopefully they are as extinct as we think.
