[ link to makeagif.com] the one with least snow was taken on 13th November 2010, and the one with most snow was taken today, both at 1201 pm i think you can clearly make out a drop in the far landscape on the right of the image, and a steep rise on the left of the image, with a seeming hinge point in the middle of the image. i lined up the hill in the foreground, and as you can see it is lined up spot on. pick a spot in the far distance, and compare it to today unless they're distorting the image, to make the far distant hills warp like that, this is showing good evidence of uplift Hmm... and what about GPS data? [ link to strokkur.raunvis.hi.is] there is definite uplift going on. they try and distort things so I can't keep an eye on it, and it's tricky to spot, but that gif shows it well, I think. Asd for the 'washing machine' explanation by Jon..  give it up Jon, ffs!
