Under water Loihi volcanoe(Hawaii)

On reading the Hawaiian newspapers, we learn that an M 4.3 earthquake was recorded close to Loihi seamount on November 24th, 2012 at 17:59 (local time). The quake was located about 7 km east-northeast of the seamount at a depth of 17 km. It was felt across the Island of Hawaii.
Loihi seamount is an active volcano situated on the sea floor south of Kilauea Volcano about 30 km from the shoreline of Hawaii Big Island. Its summit is 969 m below sea level: ...
